They form a fabulous team and seem to be always smiling. |The property is kept extremely clean and well maintained: if it’s broken, it’s fixed within hours! (Thanks Alejandro, Osvaldo and all)|The check in/out process is smooth and efficient…Sylvia and her front end team are very professional and provide great concierge service. Whatever you need (a bike rental? A taxi? Ideas for areas to explore?) they do their best to make it happen.|The hotel is very safe and secure after hours under the watchful eye of Roberto. |The housekeeping team was very thorough and helpful, especially Elvira, Rosita, and Xochitl who took great care of our bungalow. |Also, the beach bar/restaurant was a smooth operation with delicious food and drinks. Thank you Lucy, Lucka, David, Juan, Gabriel, Dario and the whole kitchen staff for the excellent service and fabulous food/drinks. |But for me, the best part of my 4 week stay with Jorge and his family is that everyone from the team to the guests are so happy and helpful. Jorge introduced us to his mother and father who immediately embraced as family members. Staff are very helpful. You ask for whatever you need and it's done. Sylvia at front desk speaks English well and she was beyond helpful. Not a lot of english tv shows so we watched free Netflix and searched for English movies. Front desk staff were amazing. Some didn't speak much English so I downloaded Google translate. It's a life saver if you don't speak the language. It translates English to Spanish as well as choices of many other languages. It will take a copy of Spanish menu and translate to English. Select conversation english to Spanish. Type in English and it shows Spanish below so easy to show to person that does not speak English. Hotel exits to beach front. Comfy bar, great food closes at 6:00. Waiters friendly, dance around and joke with you. They have great entertainment a few days a week. Beach is below bar so we'd spend morning there by umbrella. Bar waiters come down and you can order drinks and food. Beach is all sand and waves rushing in. Great place to relax. Nice spot to watch the sunset. Hotel has a pool. Not very many chairs to sit there, side area to play food ball. Small sitting area with sofa and couch to relax...

We stayed at this hotel for one week. The details state it is oceanfront, but this is not quite accurate. There was a walkway and a restaurant between the hotel and the beach so there was no umbrellas / chairs for the guests to use which was a little inconvenient. Also while sitting on their back patio the ocean view was obstructed by the aforementioned restaurant. The pool was completely surrounded by walls and rooms so it was a little claustrophobic for my tastes.||||On to the good... The room with a kitchenette was very large. It was very clean and the a/c worked well. Shower had very good pressure and hot water was never a problem. The location of the hotel was very close to the bus station and Melaque town centre so it was very easy to get around. Also the staff was very friendly. Not a word of English was spoken but with the help of google translate they were always able to help us out.||||Would I stay here again? Probably not due to the beach access, but if that is not important to you it is a nice...
