This hotel is the one of the nicest smaller major city hotels in Monterrey N.L. the hotel is located between floor 6-17 of the Pabellón tower a 50 story entertainment complex in the downtown area with views of the beautiful Silla mountain. From check in to checkout the service was incredible. Parking was interesting and hard to figure out the first time but if you contact the hotel they have a video showing you how to park in the structure for easy access to the hotel. The rooms weee very well conditioned and the beds very comfy. This hotel would fit in nicely in NYC. It is very elegant and modern. The housekeeping staff was phenomenal and the only issue is some of the pillows were hard and some were perfect but I am sure this is because everyone has different styles. The bathrooms had everything you need and even fancy porcelain sinks made by villary and Bosch. Everything felt upscale for a very fair price. The restaurant and bar encompasses the 16th floor with spectacular views of the city. You can sit indoors or out on the balconies depending on how you feel and the food is very good quality and they offer a very nice variety. The breakfast buffet was perfect, small but complete and if you do not find something you want you can ask the waiter to make you eggs any style or omelet of your choosing! Dinners are also very nice and on the weekend they offer romantic dinners. There is a business center and pool so it is good for everyone and it is even pet friendly which is cool if you have a small dog. All in all I enjoyed my stay with the family can’t wait to return and give this hotel a...
Read more3 stars. The rooms are some of the most beautiful in Monterrey with great panoramic views, location inside the shopping mall was also a big plus. Starbucks is on the same floor as hotel lobby. Pool was a big plus, gym also with good views.
The biggest downsides were the elevators (or lack thereof) and the parking. There was only ONE functioning elevator for the entire hotel of 17 floors, didn’t help that the stairwell was closed too. Sometimes I was waiting up to 10 minutes for the elevator to come during peak hours (12pm check out and 3pm check in).
The parking for the hotel is all the way at the bottom of the garage which is very strangely built and confusing. I could accept this but there were SEVERAL times our parking ticket wasn’t accepted for whatever reason and we’d be stuck in the garage, also saw this happen to other hotel guests. One time one of the ladies at the front desk accused us of not parking in the correct location even after we affirmed that we were, and then she sent a maintenance guy to the parking lot with us to confirm we were parked correctly. I did NOT appreciate essentially being accused of lying - the maintenance guy even said it was wrong of her to do that. Incredibly frustrating.
If the parking situation was better, this hotel would be one of my favorites in Monterrey because the rooms are truly very comfortable. I recommend the hotel do valet parking instead if the Pabellon isn’t going to improve the parking. The hotel guests shouldn’t be burdened with the...
Read moreUpcharge for club level rooms without having a club! Manage was quick to remedy the misunderstanding, so bumping this to 4 stars.
I tried to check in here after 4 nights at the Intercontinental. The difference in service is night and day (it's worse here). None of the staff here know about the existence of the fiesta club. I feel like the essence of hospitality is lost on management.
I booked a king bed with fiesta club access. The official check in time is 3pm. I arrived at 2:30pm and was told only 2 twin rooms are available. I asked if I can wait in the lounge, and the front desk sent me to the restaurant on the 16th floor. I also had to carry my luggage and umbrella, no offer to store the luggage while I wait.
The staff at the business center on the top floor and the restaurant on the 16th tried to help, but they were puzzled by my search for a lounge/club/VIP room that has free food and Wi-Fi. They don't know anything like that on site. I do speak a little Spanish by the way.
When I got my room keys, the other front desk associate confirmed the non-existence of the Fiesta Club. So what did I pay for with the up charge for the...
