Iberostar Grand Paraiso South beach — Hotel in Quintana Roo

From check in to check out our experience was excellent. We have to say a special thank you to all the staff at building 71 for making our experience unforgettable. A few people that especially went out of their way that we need to mention are Alexander, Mauro, Ruben, Manuel, Daniel, and Gabriel (our butlers), Roman and Christian (from the entertainment/games team, AND everyone else, I'm sorry I didn't get your names) and Guadalupe from Punta Sal (make sure to eat here and try everything on the menu, it's all delicious. My favourite were the Rib Eye Gringas with the habanero sauce). Everyone was amazing and so welcoming to us, we were really sad to leave but hope to go back in the future. You will love everything at this resort, everyone goes out of their way to make sure you have a wonderful time! They are constantly cleaning and doing maintenance on the property and beaches so everything is always clean and in tip top shape. Also I can't forget to mention the iguanas and coatis! Worst vacation ever and I’m never going back again. 1-we came to the hotel hungry and asked for food and they told us that the room service is 24 hours. We called the room service and the only thing they had was a salad 2- we had to pay for the transportation from the airport to the hotel and originally they told us it’s included 3- we stayed 3 hours at the Italian restaurant waiting for the food 4- the website says they have a casino but it’s a lie 5-I drank the Coca Cola in the room and I asked for a few more but they forgot about it 6- I talked to all the managers but no one was willing to help or solve my problems 7- they have only one place serving food outside the hotel and they only serve burgers but it’s nasty and there’s one person running the restaurant who never wears gloves 8- we went as a big group but I paid more than anyone else and we should have a group deal 9- Advice to anyone don’t even think to waste your time and...

Fabulous resort. The people are so kind and attentive. Butlers Gustavo, Manuel, Louis, Mauro, Alexander... So wonderful. Concierge Fatima, Carla.... Waiters Gunzolo, Ceaser, Malchor, Javier, Reyes, Willie, Umberto, Roberto, Emilio. Waitress Cecilia, Guadalupe.. Hostess Elizabeth, Laura, prestige, Jasmine, Laura at the Maya.. Star Prestige Beach, Manual. MIRNA... Lobby bar Dario..... Just wonderful service by all of these workers. And a special mention to Chef Yahdir and Jessica. Thank u for an amazing three weeks. Also chef supervisor Naomi.. I have never encountered such service in all my 73 years of travel. The environment at the Grand is just that GRAND. My husband enjoys golf and I love massages.
