We decided to try the Japanese restaurant at the resort, which required a booking, on our second night. Unfortunately, the experience didn’t meet expectations compared to similar restaurants at resorts with the same star rating.
One major problem was the fume hood, which wasn’t working effectively. As a result, a lot of smoke and fumes from the cooking lingered, causing discomfort for some guests, especially those seated closer to the grill. The sushi was underwhelming, with too much rice and lacking flavor, and the meat portions were far too small to be satisfying. By the end of the meal, I was still hungry. The dessert was especially disappointing and I noticed several plates of barely touched desserts left behind.
