The place itself is okay. It's situated by the main road, but all the rooms were lined around the pool area in the back so you didn't really notice any traffick at all. It has free wifi (which didn't have good speed or range). We parked our rental car by the side of the hotel, which felt safe enough.
Our room smelled really moldy, there were ants on the floor and the toilet was leaking water (though the host insisted it was from the shower, which it obviously wasn't cause it kept coming back around the toilet despite cleaning up the floor, and no shower was used prior to this). We put a towel down and left it at that. Speaking of towels; you only get one each, there's no smaller towel to wipe your hands by the sink.
There's not a single hook or anything to hang stuff on, which seems to be a very common thing in Mexico unfortunately.
The pool area is very nice, like a small oasis! But sadly the pool itself, as well as the area surrounding it, is a bit dirty, and lots of ants around the area. We still had a swim to cool off though which was lovely.
Both the sink and the shower in our room had poor water pressure with mostly warm water, (which can be painful if you have a sunburn).
All in all we got the impression that the hotel is badly kept. But a good choice if you're on a budget and just need a place to stay...
Read moreSuch a great experience. The rooms are nice and cleant every day, area of the hotel is well isolated from the main street, comfortable beds, but the best is the hotel staff. We had a problem with card payment (it was just blocked but not received by the hotel) but Edwin took a good care of us and solved everything proffesionally. That evening we were also scammed by a local pizza delivery and he also called them and they brought our money back (i am still not sure what Edwin told them). Next day in the morning we had problem with our car and the staff even helped us to jump start the car. Soo kind and helpful, thank you so much guys for saving our trip...
Read moreFirst we had to wait 1 hour until the guy from the reception showed up. Our room had a bad smell but we thought its just for one night anyway. In the middle of the night the ac turned off and we asked the security to check if there is another room available, but we where told that all rooms where occupied which I believe was a not true. In the morning we told the receptionist about it and asked for a discount. But they just said we don't have that. After some discussion they offered us 100 pesos. BTW the breakfast is horrible. Some instant coffee, white untoasted toast and some overcooked and oversalted scrambled eggs and a small amount...
