Hotel Los Frailes — Hotel in Valladolid

Correct reception for the check-in.||Correct room without more. ||Cleaning done in accordance with local standards. ||Cleaning staff very friendly.||Swimming pool correct but not always clean. ||Hotel located in the middle of a dirty neighborhood and far from the city center.||Simple windows that open easily separate the rooms from the street, you don't really feel safe. ||If the customers make the music loud, nobody says anything, so the quietness will depend on the customers present at the same time as you! || ||We were extremely disappointed by the breakfast staff. Depending on the waiters, what is included in the price or not can vary. They give the impression of trying to give as little as possible. You have to systematically ask for the cutlery, the bread (included in the formula) because they "forget" them... ||Drinks and meals are ready on the bar and the waiter takes several minutes to serve them : cold omelette and cold coffee every morning !||The terrace is installed between the parking lot and the pool's toilets. If there was only a vegetal separation it would be perfect. In this case, we feel at the edge of the highway!||We nevertheless tried one evening to stay for dinner. It was the catastrophe! Even if we speak Spanish, the waiter made several mistakes in the order, we ate anyway what he had brought not to spoil. ||The day before our departure, we went to see the staff of reception to announce our disappointment. They did not try to fix anything. We left very early one morning, which means that we had not taken breakfast, we asked if this could compensate the extra that we had taken. They did not want to hear anything. It was extremely unpleasant. It was not for the money that it represented but for the commercial gesture. Overall, I will not recommend...

We booked this last minute after being let down by our original choice of hotel, but we were pleased with this hotel! Lovely big premises, big car park, big pool and rooms nice Garden and pool and 24hr reception- they gave us some really good tips about local places to eat etc. it is a little further out of town, but it’s a simple walk in and we get completely safe doing it even at night. Being further out means you have the chance to easily go to some more local and much cheaper places to eat, which were some of the best we’ve had (La tia poc chuc in particular!). It was also easy to get out onto the main roads to go and visit other sites. Breakfast was a bit slow, but there was a choice of things to have - the pancakes...

Our stay in Hotel Los Frailas was perfect. We travel as familly with small childe 4 year old, and the place was perfect for us as adults and for our doughtier too.||She enjoyed the pool, and as we stayed on basement infront of garden and pool it was easy for us to handled her running around.||Breakfast was nice, service and people perfect (they speak english and they want to help what ever you need).||||Hotel is new, big rooms, great beds, nice garden and pool, and silence in the garden. ||||It is not in the Valladolid center, few minutes ride, but we had car and for us it was perfect, much more peace than in the city.||||Good ratio between price and service.||||If we come to Valladolid, we definitely...
