I have stayed at this hotel for several nights but it was not what I thought it becomes especially considering how expensive it was. We paid 90EUR per nigh so I think that the hotel would be much better than it was.||The room itself was certainly reasonable, comfortable and nice beds, good AC, fridge was there too. The bathroom was large, but it was missing a shelf and hooks as well, so it was a bit uncomfortable, you could say.||One day when we came back to the hotel after our trip, the room was untidy. I went to complain directly so it was arranged, but anyway to get to the room at four five o'clock afternoon and the room was not ready?||Wifi not worked so good, rather very bad or not at all.||The breakfast, however, was the bottom. You could had even omelet if one wanted, but no one told us about this possibility, it was only when I saw that another got it, so I got to ask for it as well. But no butter got we, only a piece of cheese, laughing cow.||Breakfast table where there was coffee and so on looked stale out, bread was not filled in to the basket, you had to say about everything.||The woman at the reception was nice, then one other woman there also. But it can not be said of waiters. Once I felt to ask ironically sorry that I bothered him. He just nodded, that was all.||Despite this we ate dinners there and it were actually very good indeed. So at least one thing was good.||Why I chose this hotel was for the bay's sake, it was wonderful. But unfortunately, I thought it's hotels own private beach. But it turned out that was not the case. And it felt as if the entire Al Hoceima arrived there precisely to this small bay, so there was no place for us to take a bath there.||But what was strange was that suddenly I received an email from booking.com which stated that:|| "Cancellation||Please note that your reservation at Hotel Amir Plage has been cancelled.||Hotel Amir Plage has notified us that you did not arrive on the check-in date and as a result, they have cancelled your reservation. "||So I went straight to reception and asked what was meant by this. Woman in desk apologized and that she should notify management about changing this to booking.com||But so far today it's on my side on booking.com to Non-arrival, though I wrote to the booking that I am at the hotel. So Amir Plage hotel never made contact with booking about my stay there anyway. Why? To skip to pay commission? or?||If you want to stay there so maybe in the fall or spring, but certainly not in the summer when there are a lot of people from the town there and bathe.||So it was pure disappointment to me when I was thinking to have a wonderful stay on my...
Read moreWhen you arrive at Amir Plage it seems to be the place you have always dreamed of: a small bay, a white beach with fine sand, a three-storeyed hotel behind it with all the balconies facing the sea... We arrived in off-season and agreed on a very fair price including breakfast for one night in a room which was not the best category they could offer, but seemed to have all we needed for one night in paradise.||||The truth from the inside was unfortunately quite different: Hot water was available in the morning, but not all day long, the air conditioning did not work at all and there were heaps of small flaws which you would not expect for a hotel in this category - like a TV fixed right in front of the balcony door so you MUST bang your head on it or a shower curtain which but does not keep the water inside of the shower. Also the breakfast was lousy, only toasts with one hot drink and a juice, again much less than one would expect.||||But the worst came in the end, when we went to pay and claim our passports: Another employee than the one we had spoken to on the first day told us a higher price than we had agreed on before - the explanation was that we had to pay extra for the breakfast. We were sure we would have preferred to have it outside if it had been offered to us, especially when we got to know what it consisted of. We tried to explain, but we were only told that we could also pay the lower price and that the employee of the other day would be charged for it, because it was his problem now. ||||How unprofessional to let guests go with such a feeling of guiltiness, especially when knowing about the wage level in Morocco! And how sad that it is possible to leave paradise with the feeling of having fallen...
Read moreWe stayed at this hotel in end of September, which was the end of the busy season, so the hotel was completely empty. It felt like the staff had lost their motivation to work, and we annoyed them by our presence. Breakfast was included with the room, but there was almost nothing offered, and the server actually told us it was because the kitchen kept the bare minimum at this time of the season. Coffee was the absolute worst. The room itself had a nice view and balcony, but unfortunately this was overshadowed by the fact that it was so dirty, including the bathroom which hadn't...
