Afgo Appartements & Hostel afgo — Hotel in caïdat de Ahl Ouarzazate

I had a great time staying at hostel Afgo Rooftop as well as in Ouarzazate. The facilities were spacious with all common areas and bed rotations cleaned daily and the Rooftop was large and an excellent place to relax, view the surrounding area (including the world renowned Ouarzazate Power Station tower in the distance), take photos, enjoy meals, converse and view the sunrise and sunset over the soft glow of the city's rooftops.

The staff here is exceptional and they are so welcoming that guests are more welcoming of one another and build a deeper sharing of their travels, which I think enriches possibilities for future travels as you learn about others' journies. The food is top-notch, and the breakfast is not only a great deal but extremely tasty. Aziz was attentive, helpful, and informative from my arrival to my departure and the whole time in between. He takes the renowned Moroccon hospitality to another level.

How do I start… Aziz was an amazing host who made me feel at home from the minute I walked through the doors. He went above and beyond for Any question, query or request I had during my stay. I’ve never experienced such a friendly environment. The terrace is an amazing place to relax all throughout the day and the hostel staff are really kind. Rooms are cool and comfy with reliable air conditioning and are absolutely amazing value for the price. Aziz organised an excursion into the Saharah near Zagora for me and a few other people at the hostel. It was a life changing experience which had to be experienced if you are in the area. He checked in during the trip to make sure everything was ok and asked us about the experience to make sure we were treated well (we were).

I’m from Brazil and had an amazing experience at Hostel Afgo! The place is cozy and very well maintained. The beds are clean, comfortable, and the rooms are well-ventilated, which made a big difference during the hot nights. The bathroom is also great — spacious, clean, and practical.

The rooftop terrace is simply incredible — perfect for relaxing and enjoying the sunset with a beautiful view of the city. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with information and tips about Ouarzazate and the surrounding areas.
