This hotel was likely basic two decades ago and is in poor repair with subpar food standards that gave us food poisoning - would recommend avoiding. Defaults include the following: -Food poisoning post breakfast; we were diagnosed with giardiasis back in the states -Shower head wasn't attached to the wall (though it clearly had been at one point) -Air conditioner remote wasn't in the room and, more important, the AC leaked profuse amounts of water onto one of the beds below and into an electrical outlet. So we were forced to unplug it and swelter in the heat -Bath towels are stained (despite a strong smell of bleach), frayed, and crusty -One of the bathroom lights shorted out consistently -No shampoo, conditioner, or hair dryer -Beds were hard and pillows were large/over firm
To the hotel staff's credit, they did come and screw in a new holder for the shower head when we informed them it was broken, but the myriad of other issues we found with the lodging will take a lot of investment...
Read moreWould not recommend. Our first room, the heater was not working and the beds had a lot of sand and different types of hair in it. I don't think they washed the sheets. Then we asked for a different room. This room was better but it still wasn't the cleanest. We ended up inspecting everything and not using any of the blankets just in case there were more bugs. Also, the shower head would not attach to the wall and we couldn't turn off the water. We had to use the shut off valve. So each time you needed to use the toilet or wash your hands, you had to turn on the shut off valve and then turn it off. Our friends were in another room and they had the...

There was an air conditioner, technically—but calling it that feels generous. It made noise, lit up, and pretended to work, but did absolutely nothing to cool the room. I’ve had colder moments inside a parked car on a summer day. Basically, it was just a decorative box humming in the corner.
The bathroom was an experience: cracked tiles, barely functioning plumbing, and a showerhead that sprayed like it was offended I turned it on.
Do yourself a favor: sleep in your car, pitch a tent, or stay literally anywhere else.
