Oh dear, I don't like leaving poor reviews, but I was disappointed tonight. When our food arrived, the frites were clearly recooked (we all know that overly brown and crunchy look, plus most of them were the small ones that get left at the bottom.) The amount of frites was also pretty parsimonious. Then I realised my son's burger was cold. Stone cold. Spoke to the waiter, who made the mistake of trying to tell me that the salad had cooled down the burger and that the chips were fresh. He even came and showed me a bag of potatoes from the market - not quite sure how this proved the chips were fresh. Anyway, the burger went back twice until it was hot enough, and it arrived back with an absolute mountain of freshly-cooked frites (which were delicious!) Showing that he knew he was in the wrong, he then tried to bring my husband and I replacement frites, but by that time we had finished our meals and didn't want to start eating another portion of frites half an hour after we'd finished our meals. To the end, the waiter kept insisting that it was all freshly cooked, but no fresh burger is cold, and no once-cooked chip is brown and crunchy. Best restaurant experience ever! Not only the food is really good, but the owner is exceptionally honest and kind! On New Year's Eve, we were there late, and the owner invited us to join their table. Ended up celebrating New Year's eve with these amazing people! Went for food, left with a memory and new friends. Food was great too. Tried few tagines and I must say I liked all of them. The one with chips was interesting blend of Moroccan dish with a western touch, and I was finally able to try Rfisa, which wasn't even on the menu. Not recommended at all! The locale so dirty and dusty. I ordered 2 pizzas, then sat down at the table, and i just could not stop imagining how dirty the kitchen must be if the tables for the guests are this terrible looking. I thought that maybe the food is great, since i saw all these good reviews. But, no. I would actually prefer the frozen pizzas from the supermarket over the pizza from this restaurant.
