Résidence Blue Wave Lodge imi ouaddar — Hotel in caïdat de Tamri

Bluewave lodges is set 300 metres back from the seafront, it also has its own plunge pool which we enjoyed before breakfast. The rooms are exquisitely presented, we had a double room with kitchenette in which we prepared our breakfasts which we enjoyed on our sea facing terrace. Small tip, if some more utensils and a coffee pot were provided it would have made breakfast preparation easier. The double bed was particularly comfortable and the shower excellent, with instant hot water. We would’ve had an absolutely delightful stay and given the Blue wave Lodge five stars had we not been dogged by dogs barking throughout the night. This did disturb our sleep. The problem appeared to be neighbours leaving unattended dogs in their backyard as security, attracting the street dogs causing considerable barking. We drew this problem to the attention of the very friendly and helpful manager but she said it was a problem of street dogs and it was outside of their control. This is part of the problem, but the main problem is the dogs left as security in neighbours back yards attracting the street dogs. I strongly advise the manager or owner to talk to their neighbours about this problem because it will affect their business. We would’ve loved to have given 5 stars but for this problem. This lodge is so great. We arrived here after a long day driving, a staff member stayed up late to receive us. The appartment was well prepared, and the night light was already turned on for us. It's these tiny details that are precious. The apartment was spot clean and the bed was super comfortable (with AC). Make sure to go to the beach in the morning for a dive. We had one of the best experience here during our trip to Morocco. The level of service here is outstanding and genuine. Breakfast with a view at the beach is at another level. The room is tidy, clean and lovely. Walking distance to the beach, not too busy with tourists which we love. Highly recommend....
