We stayed with Ksar Bicha for three nights – two at the Ksar and one at the bivouac tent camp in the dunes in March 2019. Our arrival was at sunset after driving the entire day from Ait Ben Haddou. We were a family of four – mom, dad and two teenagers. No idea where the unsatisfactory reviews come from – we were enchanted the entire time. Food was outstanding. We had forgotten to inform them that our daughter was vegetarian, but they were extremely accommodating. All meals were eaten at their restaurant, and every meal was just perfect. We had tagine, chicken brochettes, kefka, salad, fruit, soup – all were very fresh and so tasty. Our room had one queen bed and two twins – perfect for us; with separate shower and toilet in the bathroom area. There was also a sitting area but to be honest, we spent most of the time sitting outside by the pool. Everything was clean, temperature was perfect – and we felt safe at all times. The bivouac was amazing – but riding on a dromedary for almost two hours is tough on your behind. Be ready to be sore. Our kids climbed to the top of the dune for sunset. We also took the ATVs to the dessert for a sunset tour – just spectacular. I think the kids liked it better than the bivouac. We did not use the pool – a bit too chilly for us but the area around the pool was perfect for playing family games or reading a book. The staff go above and beyond. Every single one did a wonderful job. Special mention to Mohamed who was our guide for both the bivouac and dunes. Excellent English and French – no problems communicating with any of the staff. Our communication for the reservations was all done by email with Ali. Everything was 100% clear and he was very quick to confirm everything back. Payment was done by credit card on-site in MAD – no problems. Would definitely recommend – it was a trip...

Read moreWe spent two nights at Ksar Bicha. One night in the hotel, and the second night camping in the ‘superior’ tents. The hotel property is lovely and the staff were excellent. The pool is so refreshing. We spent the afternoon by the pool after a really cool 4x4 excursion where we learned about the origins of mascara and met a Berber nomadic family.|| Our ‘golden hour’ camel ride to the desert was truly memorable. The desert camp exceeded my expectations. Our tent had a western toilet, a sink and a shower with hot water, which was appreciated after the 2.5hr camel ride to the camp. ||The food at Ksar Bicha and the camp was truly excellent. We really...
