Highly recommended! Beautiful spot next to the Sahara dunes. Dromedar - Trips to stay the night can be organized - either in a fixed camp or as a private tour with your own guide. Perfect experience! So many stars and a stunning sunset and sunrise make this experience worthwhile. We found the hosts and staff to be be friendly and knowledgeable. They have plenty of ideas on what to do and see in this area with the necessary care and precaution of the community and nature. This is not necessarily the case with some other businesses who recklessly damage dunes and nature with motor vehicles (quads, bikes, buggies). Let yourself be spoilt by the beauty and magic of nature and great and...
Read moreI really cannot say enough good things about Maison Merzouga Guesthouse!
The host, Iahcen, truly went above and beyond to make our time in Merzouga incredible. He arranged private excursions on 4 by 4s and on camels that were reasonably priced and so memorable! Both the breakfast and dinner was fantastic - honestly some of the best food we had in Morocco, and with wonderful service (the host’s young son was so sweet and attentive). And of course, the guesthouse itself was incredibly beautiful. Our room was spacious and comfortable, and the common areas were beautifully decorated with so many areas for sitting and relaxing. We didn’t get around to using the pool, but it looked lovely! Don’t forget to visit the rooftop while you’re there - it’s an incredible view of the desert and oasis.
Thank you Iahcen and family for such a lovely stay. The care and effort you put into your hospitality is palpable. We will...
