Merzouga family apartment — Hotel in Caïdat de Taouz

We stayed in Ali's family apartment for one week. Ali even came to pick us up from the bus station and welcomed us with tea and sweets. The apartment is very spacious, very tastefully decorated and has all the comfort you could ask for. Even if you for some reason wanted to receive 40 guests it wouldn't be a problem because one of the two sitting rooms is huuuuge. The apartment is very clean and you can relax with a view to the oasis and the dunes. Both are very close, also the town centre can be reached in walking distance. Since Ali is a true desert man he has a vast knowledge about the desert, the berber culture, the music etc and is of course a certified professional tourist guide. He organised every day for us and we got to experience Erg Chebbi in so many ways. Ali is very kind and helpful and will do everything for making your stay unforgettable. What a wonderful place! The flat is huge, new, nice, beautiful and very comfortable. 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, 3 AC. A full house for yourself. We had 2 nights in desert camp which were really uncomfortable yet they market that as luxurious. What a RIP off. Better to stay in merzouga town in this huge flat and explore from there. La casa è spaziosa e pulita. Il grande salone e le ampie camere la rendono perfetta per gruppi e famiglie. Inoltre Alì ci ha accompagnato in un soggiorno autentico, abbiamo vissuto esperienze diverse tra cui provare una buonissima pizza berbera, il giro con i Quad e passeggiata in cammello fino al campo nel deserto dove abbiamo trascorso la notte.
