My friends and I booked a desert tour on TripAdvisor. Without really knowing what is going on in the itinerary, we were kinda lost and we were arranged to stay at Lahmada. Even though it may look a bit rundown, it was the best stay in my Morocco trip!||||The service here is really good - the locals really take great care of us and they prepared delicious meals like Tagines for our lunch and dinner. And they were really patient with us because we kept asking them what are the plans as we didn’t really know what was going to happen next.||||The tour guide that the hotel arranged was really friendly too. He brought us around the desert and introduced us to the different places there! He was really humorous as he often joked with a fellow tourist who was with us on the tour. ||||Then there was the camel ride! The locals prepared camels and we rode them to the sand dunes in the evening. They even brought us to the top of the sand dunes! It was really amazing and throughout the ride, they really took great care of us! ||||Then we got to stay at the desert camp which was just beside the hotel. I’ve heard stories that some desert don’t have shower facilities but they have it in this desert camp!! It was amazing and they prepared entertainment for us and even mingled with us at the desert under the moonlight after the performance!||||All in all, the experience that this hotel provide||was really amazing! I would love to go back if I have the chance to visit the...
Read moreI stayed at this hotel for a few days during my desert trip.|the hotel is big and clean and easily accessible by car, the rooms quite spacious and clean. the staff very kind and super attentive, always ready to make you feel at home and not to let you miss anything. the hotel has a beautiful garden, and also a terrace, the view of which is wonderful, both during the day to see the large dunes near the hotel, and in the evening to enjoy the view of the stars! there is also a swimming pool with a view always over the dunes. THE LOCATION OF THE HOTEL IS JUST GREAT! |In the hotel there are many places where you can sit and relaxing reading a book or what you like.|moreover if you wish you can spend the night in the camp near the dunes, in the evening after dinner the hotel boys, all local people, will play typical songs with drums and other typical instruments.|the food is abundant and delicious but above all typical Moroccan. for vegetarians special meals are prepared under request.|I absolutely...
Read moreI was surprised on the quality that they were able to deliver in an overnight desert camp despite staying at the lowest tier within the camping area - the staff is extremely approachable, hilarious and well versed across multiple languages. The satisfaction on the amenities within the camp is also on par with some of the established lower-rated hotels within the country, which is well appreciated while you're camping in the middle of a desert.||Most importantly, the attentive staff allowed all the lights to be turned off impromptu halfway through the joyful bonfire (just because everyone wanted to look at night lit sky full of stars) really impressed me on how customer service can really work itself out to deliver it's quality. ||As long as you don't mind the inevitable where the nights are going to be cold, this is definitely the...
