We ordered the Madfouna, couscous au Tfaia and vegetarian tagine, and Panachi sec fruit and za3za3 to drink. The Madfouna here is made from two slices of bread filled with pieces of meat and vegetables, nothing special. The couscous with caramelised onions and raisins was very tasty, and the vegetarian tagine was good. The Panachi sec fruit was disappointing and was basically milk with ground almonds, while the za3za was milk with pieces of banana, orange, chocolate syrup and Oreo biscuits. The service was very friendly and the prices were normal for Morocco.

Au restaurant La grotte Dunes Arnaque, intoxication et mépris - L'expérience la plus horrible de notre séjour À éviter absolument ! Ce restaurant est une supercherie totale qui mérite amplement sa note catastrophique. Notre expérience fut un enchaînement de désastres. Après un repas exécrable, le serveur nous annonce un prix au hasard, sans détail. En demandant le détail de la facture, le spectacle commence : la patronne met 5 minutes à calculer et griffonne des prix au stylo sur un bout de papier, bien supérieurs à ceux de sa propre carte ! Quand nous lui avons fait remarquer cette escroquerie, elle nous a répondu avec un culot monstre que la carte n'était pas à jour. Pourquoi la donner aux clients alors ? Une malhonnêteté pure et simple. La cuisine est insipide et n'a aucun goût. Pire, le tajine que l'on nous a servi avait une odeur dégueulasse et suspecte. La conséquence ne s'est pas fait attendre , intoxication alimentaire le soir même, gâchant la fin de notre voyage. Si nous avions eu plus de temps, nous aurions alerté les services sanitaires. La patronne se croit visiblement au-dessus des règles élémentaires de restauration. Son mépris et son arrogance envers les clients qui osent questionner ses pratiques douteuses couronnent le tout. On comprend très bien pourquoi l'établissement était vide contrairement aux autres alentours. Conclusion ; Fuyez ce piège à touristes ! Vous paierez cher pour être malades, arnaqués et méprisés. Il existe de nombreux d'autres restaurants à Merzouga où l'on vous accueillera avec honnêteté et où la cuisine est savoureuse et saine. Ne prenez pas ce risque.

Asalamou7alykoum als je in marzouga bent mag je deze restaurant niet voor bij lopen we reden rond en we zagen mensen daar eten we stopte voor het eerst maar 1 ding is zeker de hele vakantie hebben wij daar heerlijk gegeten service is ook top zij heet fatiha de beste kok in marzouga zij geeft mensen wat ze willen mij vrouw vond het ook heel lekker om bij haar te eten harira en tagin en haar patat gast vrijheid zij regelt ook als je een tour wil doen met de jeep door de woestijn en quad en overnachting in de midden van de woestijn wil je niet opgelicht worden ga lekker bij restaurant Le grotte langs daarom krijgt zij van ons alle steren van de hemel bij deze fatiha we hebben genoten van jou en je eten tbarqallah hlik Asalamou7alykoum Mvg fatima en samir Ouazzan ou khouribgha kaisalmou halik

Can’t thank this restaurant enough. After 6 hours of driving we didn’t manage to exchange Dhirams and had just 55 left and they did not accept card. So we ordered just one Pizza to share before going to our camp. The guys working there understood we were out of money and to our surprise they brought us a second pizza for free along with bread. Honestly, I have never experienced such a kind gesture before. We obviously left some extra money in Euros. The Pizza was great and good value for money. The guys working there (might be owners I don’t know) always responded with a smile. Give this...

I heard good things about this restaurant so I decided to go and eat here. I arrived late maybe around 10pm and it wasn’t so busy, but the owner was more than happy to serve me. She made me feel comfortable and made me a good sized portion of food. I had chicken Tagine with cous cous and vegetables. It was delicious. I asked for a bowl of olives and they brought me olives. I asked for fries and they went and hand cut potatoes and freshly fried them for me. I also had a bottle of water. Everything came to around 65 dirhams. Which is very good for what I had. Great service with a smile....
