Merzouga Wild Desert Luxury Camp — Hotel in Caïdat de Taouz

This was the designated camp for a quick camel ride into the desert. Many other properties in the area, close to the dunes. Nice reception area with snacks and mint tea. Our accommodation was at the lower end of the price range (organized tour), thus no air conditioning with temperatures around 40 degrees Celsius. The tent was very hot, even if we kept the door and the window open. Basic accommodation with two beds and a chair. Cleanliness in room and on property can be improved. Separate lavatory and shower building (which was clean). Water was very hot because of the sun. Good dinner with water provided free of charge. Forgettable breakfast with very bad coffee. The luxury tents on this property had music and dancing and kept us awake to late at night. There is a pool, but then you have to pay fifty dirham to use the pool, even as a registered guest. The camel ride was disappointing. Half an hour one way, 45 minutes to wait for the sunset and then 30 minutes back. Camelier was very helpful with pictures. I did booked a full package with this agency travel to merzouga ,we had good time from Welcomming us at Marrakech .they book for us all the Tour inckudes hotels and attractions ||Best choosing of excelkent and authentique houssee that offer a extra value of our staying .then we had choose to stay 2 night in Sahara between dunes and stars .with camel ride and SandBoard as well a tour by Quad .next day to visit the Oasis and Lunch at chady palmer was our best high Experience .specially the quietness.and looking at stars at night with this great local music the stuffs treat us very well they serve food with big smille because they love and proud of sharing their culture as well we had fun with the Driver and our guide very well English spokers and easy to comnunicates they are there for all our wishes ||I do recommand this agency and hoping see you next time to sahara...
