This is a new hotel in Ifrane. My room was a suite with a living room area . The place looks new . Lots of carved wood panels give and impression of richness, which is undermined however by the poor quality of the material used throughout the hotel. It is part of a larger complex that includes a good number of condos, and several swimming pools (None was filled in mid-June). They seem to have a spa but you have to find out by yourself as there is no information provided.||||The restaurant is located at the other end of the complex, a 6-7 minute walk but they can, in principle, deliver to your room. Unfortunately, there was not much available, so we did not eat there although we tried twice (but they had basically nothing even though the menu was extensive ). On the other hand, there are several good inexpensive restaurants at the shopping center , less than a 5 minute walk away.||||Wi-fi is available most of the time although a little slow.||||Front desk staff is always eager to help. All the staff actually are very nice and helpful. They should have some basic tools such as adapters for the electrical outlets, pamphlets and maps about the area, etc…Even the tourist center downtown Ifrane did not have any of this which makes driving a trial and error exercise. Indications are rare or non existent except for the larger cities.||||Breakfast is OK at best, choice is limited but the coffee is excellent. The breakfast room is so small that it becomes chaotic at times. It starts a little late; you cannot get anything before 7h30 and even later. In summer time, you can eat outside in the garden but I wonder what they do in winter since there are only five tables inside.||||The room itself has some flaws: no in-room safe, no furniture on the balcony, twin beds so narrow you can hardly place your arms along your body, and pillows that are so thick to the point of being unusable (I met several other guests who complained about the same thing). The wood panel at the head of the bed is loosely fitted (if at all) and bangs on the wall every time you move. There were two small bottles of water upon arrival but they were never replaced, so you have to buy your own.||||The TV has international networks, like Euro News, CNN ,TV 5 and BBC, but you have to scan the 600+ channels to find them .There is no desk or table to place your computer and work, no hairdryer, no iron and board. But there is a small fridge. The shower glass door was broken; the mechanism that operates the toilet reservoir broke (and I heard in another room also) ;another room had problems with the door knob and the lock, and with lighting. There is soap in dispensers in the shower and on the sink but no shampoo, no conditioner, no lotion.||||They have tables and umbrellas in the garden where they could serve drinks during the day and the evening (if they served alcoholic beverage, which they don't) . But it is now used only for breakfast.||||In summary, it is reasonably priced and located close to the shopping center (where there are several restaurants) and close to downtown, but it could be a much nicer place if better organized and...

Read moreI went there with my wife and daughter. ||The cons:||- The price is too high compared with the services offered (220 Euros for 2 nights in a double bed room called "Suite de luxe").||- Many open Wifi hot-spots but no Internet.||- The mini bar in the room was empty and off.||- 2 very small bottles of water offered for three days !!!||- No possibility of extra bed for our daughter. Was obliged to sleep on a small sofa!!!||- The first day, the cleaning service woman didn't change the bed covers. She just used the same covers as the day before.||- No AC in the rooms. Only central heating.||- Electricity outlets are hidden behind the beds, with no possibility to plug anything.||- Some guys at the reception are unfriendly and not professional: You need to say good morning three times to have a forced answer.||||The pros:||- Positioned near the center of the city. So the major restaurants and shops are close.||- Accept all kinds of payment.||- Reservation is done online by credit card verification without taking the money from...
