Really strange experiece today. We arrived at 19.00, after 10 minutes we decided what to eat and we wanted to order 2 burgers. The lady that gave us the menu then informs us that burgers would be available "in one hour" (why didn't she tell us when she gave us the menu tho?). Anyway, not a problem, we decide to wait and in the meanwhile we order a starter and we play some chess. After one hour I ask the lady if it is now possible to order our burgers, she says "we dont have burgers atm and I have no idea when they will be available". At this point I think the situation is a bit wierd since she didn't give any additional information, nor she offered an alternative. I try to understend what is happening, if the burgers would eventually be available but all she does is repeting "i have no idea, i have no idea" looking at me like if i was harrassing her. One of the strangest interactions I've had in my life. Very confused I decide to wait some more time waiting for the burgers. In the meanwhile the girl just stays on her phone, not looking too bothered by the situation. After an additional half an hour we decide to leave since we were extremely hungry. Before leaving i try to talk with another guy asking what happened: he explained in a very good english that they didn't have any bread for burgers, so they couldnt serve them. Why didn't she tell us before, why did she have us waiting 1h30min without saying a word about us nor to us nor her collegues ? Was It because she is shy? Was It because she didn't speak english or french? Was it because she didn't care at all about us? I'm still wandering what happened. Just really strange. I'm Sorry for the 2 stars since the place is nice, the guy at the end was really nice, good music and.. maybe good burgers. We'll...
Read moreI recently revisited Foodies in Ifrane, a place I once held in high regard for its delicious offerings and warm atmosphere. However, my latest experience was deeply disappointing.
I was dismayed to find that the quality of the food has declined significantly. The burger I received was overcooked, and the bun appeared to have been taken directly from the refrigerator, lacking the warmth and freshness I had previously enjoyed.
The service was equally disheartening. After waiting for approximately an hour for my order, I approached the counter to inquire about the delay. The lady at the cashier responded curtly, stating she didn’t know the reason for the wait, and insisted I stay away from the counter. Her demeanor was far from welcoming, giving the impression that serving customers was a burdensome task rather than a valued responsibility.
This experience starkly contrasts with the positive reviews and experiences I had in the past
It’s disheartening to witness such a decline in both food quality and customer service. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and works towards restoring the standards that once made Foodies a cherished spot...
Read moreWe arrived before 11:45 am to this place. They open at 12. None greeted us but ok, no big issue. We wait. At 12 we go to the counter, where apparently we need to order. The guy does not speak well French nor English. I show them a message in Arabic saying I am intolerant to gluten and cannot eat anything made of wheat or fried in a non-dedicated frier. So the only option they have is a burrito bowl. Their card says they have oven-baked potatoes but when we ask them they say they don't have them. Because the burrito bowl consists mainly of cold ingredients I pass without the fries. Then comes another waiter who seems to understand me better. Although it later turns out he did not understand half of what I said. So I order a burrito bowl and oven-baked potatoes - this waiter confirmed twice it was possible - later on he denied that I asked him potatoes. So either he did not understand me at all, or he is not honest. I refused to eat the bowl without hot potatoes. So asked back the money. What a weird experience. My father has no intolerances and he ate the double burger. He liked his burger, the fries...
