This was a quick overnight stop on our way to Merzouga, and it turned out to be an unforgettable experience. A family-run business, this place offers the best Moroccan hospitality you could ask for. Ali and his father welcomed us warmly, and despite the kitchen being closed, his father went above and beyond to prepare the most delicious local meatball and chicken tagine for us. Their dedication to their guests is truly remarkable.

What sets this place apart is not just the comfort it offers but the genuine connection they create with their guests. They took the time to talk with us, making us feel like part of the family. We had an early departure the next morning, and they even adjusted our breakfast time to accommodate us—a thoughtful gesture that made all the difference.

The owner Idris was very helpful. Our bicycles were put in the house opposite under lock and key. It was cold but the heating was turned on in the evening. The restaurant is now been completed and the food is great and reasonably priced. I ate the best bessara and the all time best harira here. Really recommended. We needed to leave early and were assured they would be open......and they were. Pretty much unheard of in Morocco!! We were served breakfast and could leave on time.
