Horrible!!!!!!!!! Dirty awfull rooms, shower does not work.. in the sink, Brown water!!!! Water in the bathroom is not running, just a small stream, or for 1-2 minutes nothing. Ac is horrible. Not working, but even if worked, I would not use it, as I would be afraid of lungs problems, as I have never seen dirtier AC. SHEETS FULL OF HAIR!!!!!!, DIRTY, STAINED, DUSTY... not something I would recommend to a person to sleep on... If I knew before, I would buy another hotel.. but this was organised by a 3 days Sahara trip. This hotel would be closed in Europe.. even cheapest hostels in Europe looks more safe and clean than this "4*" hotel.. I feel like I will get some infection from sleeping here...

We asked a confused receptionist for extra towels.. after 20 minutes she gave us 2 old looking different sizes towels with " oh, I found those ones "...

Food was a Bio hazzard. We did not ate it, as I was affraid of food poisoning... Dining looks like feeding monkeys in the Zoo.. One plate for 7 people... everyone is fighting for a tiny piece of food... I felt like animal and ended up not fighting.. so what left after a fight in 2 minutes were bones... for a water, you need to pay extra...

As we refused to eat in the hotel, we were super hungry after all day trip and wanted to find a restaurant... some guy stopped us on the way out, and starts yelling at us, that we did not ate the food, and it is not their fault, as our tour was organising the food... We told him, that its ok, and we will eat somewhere else.. this Staff guy told us, that we dont need to go to the reataurant, but we can pay him for different food.

Overall, we almost did not sleep, everything was ichy.. water dirty floor dirty toilet dirty towels with hair, bed with hair, doors dirty, AC not working, no amenities, horrible food and staff..... Nightmare.... AVOID...

I stayed here for one night as part of an overnight transit that was organized by my Sahara group tour. On initial impression, the hotel was quite big, when I saw the reception interiors, I thought this might be a nice hotel. But as soon as we were all allocated our rooms. I did not think any better. First of all, they gave me three single beds for a solo traveler. TV was not working, no phone in the room to call reception. The shower was faulty and loose. I was worried how I was going to shower as it took me quite a long time to figure out how to get the water running. When I wanted to charge my phone, I found out the charging outlet was right behind one of the beds so had to push out the bed to access the plug socket. I was also given a room so far away from the reception, that I decided to bring my luggage with me to the breakfast the next day so I didn’t have to make the long walk to the room to collect my luggage. On a positive side, I did have a balcony overlooking the pool which was nice, but due to the extra time spent addressing the issues and dinner, I did not have time to experience the pool. Since I could not contact the reception from the room, I had to walk all the way to the reception to inform them of all the issues which wasted a lot of my time. A man came up to the room to have a look but could not do anything. It was only for one night so I was able to live with it. Breakfast and dinner was included. We were given a salad, some potato dish, some fresh fruits, a tagine dish, which I wasn’t quite sure what it was to be honest. Food was ok, but I think the food should have been more plentiful considering how many people were at the table. Overall, I do not recommend this hotel but if I had a choice to book it myself, I would not...

Worst hotel experience of my life. Slept there through a tour to Merzouga. Rooms are at a long dark hallway. Once you enter the room you feel lonely & lost. They are cold, dark, not well maintained, dirty. The beds & pillows are hard as rock. The mattress is curved as it probably saw 1000 & 1 nights by itself. No real blanket, just a small piece of fabric. The AC was not working. We were unable to heat the room. The night was extremely cold & unpleasant - as the tiles we were walking on. The bathroom is a shame. The mirror was skew and dirty. The sink and its armatures were old, dirty, scratched. The bathtub had brown stains in it. We have used the water we bought before to clean ourselves. We even asked to change rooms once but the condition of the rooms were the same. One of our tour mates even found a cockroach. He killed it and flushed it away. See photo. The dinner was aweful. Nothing to choose from, just a big pot in the middle of the table. Breakfast was disgusting as well. The people working there seemed friendly but quite unhappy - no one smiled and or greeted us as guests. Their excuse that this is a cheap room does not count. Every hostel for 5€/night is more luxurious than this „lost place“. Maybe the owner has to travel more to see that himself. This hotel is a shame & I asked our tour guide to not book it again. Will even write it in their review as it was part of the tour.

We stayed here for a night whilst on a tour - expecting an extremely budget hotel however we were very pleasantly surprised! The hotel was gorgeous, the pool and the bar were wonderful and our room was well equipped, clean, spacious, had a great air con and a gorgeous balcony. The real highlight of this hotel however was their restaurant staff. As an autistic picky eater who finds trying new foods extremely stressful, for the most of the trip i lived off of biscuits and crisps however when i asked the hotel staff if there was any chance they had some fries or something they prepared for me (at no extra cost which is crazy considering the standard is a prepaid for set group meal) the best fries i had ever eaten which had obviously been hand cut and made just for me in the kitchen. (excuse the silly photo we didn’t have a better one ahha) This was extremely above and beyond and i couldn’t be more greatful to the staff here. Other than wishing we had spent more time here the only tiny downside was the lack of lifts for our upstairs rooms (which was mainly our own fault for overpacking such ludicrously heavy bags). Can not recommend this hotel and its wonderful staff enough!

This was our overnight accommodation provided by Ando Travel Agency for our Sahara Desert Tour and despite the pandemic this is surprisingly a good accommodation! You can see that this property has aged but the staff tried their best to welcome us and provide us a safe and comfortable stay. The swimming pool was amazing, we had a great time there. The dinner was served by the pool and it was very good too. And, they serve beer, which was affordable. We had a double room since I am traveling with a friend and the size was decent with traditional interior touches. The bed was comfortable, there's an A/C and a newly remodeled toilet and bath. We had a balcony with a city view. All in all, I will definitely stay here again if ever I visit Tinghir on my way to Merzouga again for the Sahara Desert.
