La Residence — Hotel in Kyaukme District

It's a very simple hotel. Actually an old house and smells like old stuff. The owner is a friendly but shy lady and his daughter is a cute smiley girl. They try their best to help you although their English skills are not the best.

The price is not fair for this accommodation considering Myanmar as a total, but this is the rule in Hsipaw.

They have good food and cheap pint as well. Great for the night

Room was ok however it was a bit cold inside and air condition heating did not work. Breakfast was simple but good. Wifi was not very stable. They have cheap drought beer in the restaurant. Water in the shower was very hot. English of the lady on the reception was very basic so you need to go to other places to organise tickets or guide to see places...

The hotel would turn off the hotel every hour or two--I had to keep going down and demanding they turn back on the wi-fi. I'm not sure why they keep turning it off but it was frustrating.
