Moon Light Hotel — Hotel in Mandalay District

At first glance, the hotel seems good. Good location and nice establishment, recent, Chinese style (normal, no?). At check-in, the hostess wanted to keep the ID card of my partner, it is surely a common practice in Burma. But when I asked her what the reason, she was not able to answer and just smiled stupidly. Regarding the room, the windows are very thin, impossible to sleep without earplugs. The hotel is located in a very noisy street and it is a shame not to have equipped the rooms with quality windows (made in China as usual, sadly). Regarding the bathroom, it is difficult to adjust the temperature of the water. It is necessary to wait 1minute each time one modifies the quantity of hot or cold water to obtain a result .... weird. This is a modern hotel with decent size rooms and a very good location. The shower is powerful and the wash basin had hot water which is not always a given in budget hotels. There is a cold drink welcome after the nice fellow on the door ushers you in and takes your bags. The spotless room had a big bed with an excellent firm mattress. The room also has a variety of lighting. The breakfast had about six noodle, rice and stir fry dishes as well as eggs, toast and four or five fruits. There was also unlimited coffee and cakes/cookies aplenty. This hotel is budget in price but way beyond that in every other way. Last but not least the staff are completely and utterly charming. After facing difficult time with AKT Hotel we find out this hotel on our way. Tired and don't want to find another hotel we decide to go and see this hotel. Since from car parking to reception, show around the room and luggage assistance we finally can say "Thanks God". Even we don't get 2 rooms on same floor we happy to take because of charming staff. We did enjoy our stay with 2 minor issue one is AC not cool they fix immediately but don't feel that much cool and noise from outside and other room. Breakfast was variety and staff are very helpful.
