Royal City Hotel — Hotel in Mandalay District

We were there for the first time in June 2016 and felt warm with the hotel experiences. Warmly smiles, of course they smiles on front desk, but also in their hearts and very supportive to every single days we stayed there. Food is normal and traditional, and Chinese taste,of course Mandalay is as like Chinese city as well.

In 2016, again in September, we were very urgent meeting in Mandalay, we again choose Royal City as their service is good enough for us and pleasant. We request a meeting room. However they only have a lobby in downstairs. As I know their breakfast space was pleasant to organize an informal meeting, I have asked them for their support. Their responses were very quick and arranged for us very quickly and very supportive. All of the staff there re-arranged for our meeting space and provided facilities to use without any charge! It's amazing.

I am sure I always be there when I travel to...

I stayed there for 2 nights on Oct 25-27. I saw their promotion advertisement on Facebook page. So I booked for 2 nights with reasonable rate. Their location was fine. Easy to find Pizza and traditional restaurants near by. Also walking distance to Grand palace and down town shopping area. My room 403 was clean, safe and nice corner view to Mandalay hill as well. But only problem for toilet bowl and it's space was very narrow for my fat body. I'll choose more spacious deluxe room for next visit. Free Wi-Fi connection was workable but not fast. All staff were very friendly and helpful with respect. Their breakfast time was short,only available between 7 to 9 am. Breakfast spread was not too many varieties. Mostly Asian style fried noodle,fried rice, veggie,white bread with butter and jam, fried egg,juice and seasonal fruits that's all. Their owner is Muslim,so pork sausage and curries not...

We stayed here for the third time and when in Mandalay always come back to this small ans extreemly friendly place. Although the last time was years back (and only for 2 days), they recognized us immediately and welcomed us warmly. The rooms are Equipe with everything one needs and very clean. Breakfast is Server on the Rooftop where one can ist also during the day and evening and See even Mandalay Hill. The locatIon is central. A little further down the road in a small lange to the left are two very good and safe restaurants, called Marie Minh...
