Amigo Motel Kalaw — Hotel in Taunggyi District

We went there because of the good reviews. But we were quite disappointed.

Nothing to block sunlight in the room. So we were up at 6 am. The room was very small. And strangely the bathroom was communicated with another one. So we could hear a lot of interesting sounds.

The breakfast was okish.

From a 3:00 a.m. early check-in to the end, the hotel team was really patient and helping me in everything. I needed to go out for a few things and the staff would even drive me out with the motobike they have. Breakfast is really nice. We feel at home in Amigo Kalaw. The staff is what makes the stay even better. Very kind, smiling and always willing to help. We were changed rooms the second night, bigger, airy and quiet. About the place, very clean, well located and with a tasty breakfast (my husband loved the Shan Noodle). I was sick for 2 days, so we needed to extend our stay, which was great to enjoy there even more....
