The good:|Cheap prices|decent wifi|friendly staff|big breakfast included |Complimentary water ||The bad:|Dark dingy rooms|No AC- room gets very hot in summer months |Bedsheets were dirty when we arrived (mud stains and ants in them...we just brushed off the bugs and slept in the cleaner of the two beds)|All the above issues are tolerable and for the price I wouldn't really expect much more, but the kicker for us was the 24/7 chanting. The hotel is right next to a monestary, and they have megaphones blasting chanting all night. From about 9pm-4am it was a little softer, although still audible with earplugs. At 4am it began being loud again. This was not the quality night of sleep that we were looking for the day...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI loved this hotel, situated up a hill in peaceful surroundings.||The hotel grounds are very pretty with foliage galore.||My room was a small bungalow type room, with large bedroom and spacious bathroom I was pleasantly surprised for such a cheap price.||The food was delicious also.||I arrived at 4:30am and was freezing from the cold mountain air, however I was warmly met and told that whilst I of course couldn't check in, they had a cabin with blankets and beds where I could rest and sleep until the morning - which I was extremely grateful for and wasn't expecting.||The hotel is a short walk to a few shops and tour places and so for me was ideal.||Only let down was the wifi was a bit iffy and didn't...

Cons: No working wifi. Only pancakes or bread with egg for breakfast. Every night you could hear every second something hitting a metal plate. That's not good for your sleep. When you go to sleep and turn off the very bright light outside, someone turns it back on. That's not good for your sleep. Opening the door with the key doesn't go easy. Room got cleaned pretty late. No hot water for in bath, but hot enough for a shower. Not much place to put...
