KJS Inn — Hotel in Bhimdatta

What a great place and people! I had luck to find this Inn as I did my Indian visa run (one day stsy in Nepal). I couldnt have wished for a better one night stay. The staff feels like a family by now! The were attentive to all my questions and just very friendly, even helped organizing my way back to the Indian boarder. Simply always there to help! The bed and the pillows wow! Clean and super comfortable, don't remember when I rested so well! Also their breakfast is so yummy that I wished I ordered some more food at the place yesterday. Fresh delicious home food made from scratch. I even received a blessing for my future travels from the whole KJS staff! What a blessing to know them. Thank you for your love and care. All this magic with food for 1000INR only! Please if you're around visit KJS Inn! 🌺

Very cosy and clean rooms. Staff was super nice and helpful. (Seriously, thanks for the great service!) Decent kitchen ground floor, second floor has a cosy bar, price was very fair. It was a nice stay. Two downsides though:

door was too small for the doorframe. This meant that the A/C basically had no use to cool the room unless it was on at all times. This also meant that the noise from outside and the hallway wasn't blocked off and i could hear the roadside traffic even though my room was all the way to the back of the building and on the third floor. power inexplicably cuts every now and then, at least once a day, but only certain things do. The fan is still on, and so are the lights, but the wi-fi, A/C and power outlets will turn off. This isn't a local outage when the voltage is lowered by the power company (a brownout), as i could still perfectly receive the wifi signal from the two lodgings next door....

For Foreigners: Couldn’t sleep all night because a massive mosquito problem I was covered in bites and itching all night getting bit once a minute on average. The window was closed and the mosquito plug didn’t work. They didnt bother to give a new room. Also the entire hotel is locked and you can’t leave after a certain hour. Also the shower didn’t work and they charged us (2 person room with 2 beds) for an extra breakfast , even though breakfast was included according to Agoda. They tried to say only 1 breakfast is included. I contacted Agoda and they are supposed to include 2 breakfast for a room for a couple. They charged me 505 rupees for a breakfast . Big scam.
