A Slice of Paradise – An Unforgettable Stay! From the moment I arrived at Meraki I was completely enchanted. The view is stunning, the air is clean with a smell of forest and flowers, and there is a feeling of tranquility despite the music of a large variety of birds and many doves. The resort grounds with lush gardens and cozy lounge areas invites to relaxation. I received a warm welcome from everybody on staff, from the gate security to the Assistant Manager. Every member of the team went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect – from the friendly and helpful front desk team, housekeeping staff, incredibly good Chef and restaurant staff, and the professional team of therapists (massage, yoga, Tibetan sound bowls) What truly set this resort apart is that you can customize your experience around your needs and dreams. The Assistant Manager, Urisha, goes above and beyond to coordinate external services such as taxi or touristic tours in or outside of Kathmandu. She is a wonderful planner. The resort has an incredible, knowledgeable Yoga guru. I can tell that this guy will become a famous Guru in the future!!! I was impressed with his flexibility and patience to meet my needs as a beginner in yoga. He also does the Tibetan Sound Bowls therapy. I had this procedure done in other places in Kathmandu and so had my husband. We both concluded that Sagar is the best. It is an art the way he almost dance between and with the bowls around your body, creating a magic, celestial music. The dining experience was exceptional. When I had the detox massages and procedure, they cooked delicious diet food to accommodate me. The regular restaurant menu offers a large variety of food, from American, Indian, Nepali, and Chinese cuisine. Each meal is a...

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Meraki Wellness Retreat with some friends, and I must say, the overall experience was quite refreshing. The retreat is surrounded by lush greenery, natural streams, and enjoys cool weather, making it the perfect getaway for anyone seeking peace and nature. The ambience, full of natural beauty, immediately helped us feel relaxed and rejuvenated. The hospitality was excellent as well, with the staff ensuring our comfort throughout our stay.

The rooms were clean, cozy, and well-maintained. I also had the chance to try the sound healing therapy, which was extraordinary and left me feeling completely refreshed. However, the salt therapy didn't resonate with me as much, though it was still an interesting experience.

Unfortunately, the food at the retreat was not up to the mark. While the presentation was nice, the taste and quantity were disappointing, especially considering the price. I had biryani, paratha, and chicken curry, but the flavors fell flat and didn’t meet expectations. The breakfast was decent but left us wanting more, especially given the overall high standard of the retreat.

Despite the food issues, the retreat’s serene environment, well-kept gardens, and great hospitality make it a place I’d visit again. I’m hopeful that they’ll improve the food quality, which would make this retreat truly perfect.

We visited for a weekend, and the place is stunning with fabulous interiors. Our Spa Suite room, equipped with contactless card doors, was fantastic. The room was spacious, featuring a massage bed, a large washroom, and a personal jacuzzi. The amenities were impressive, and the staff proved to be polite and helpful. We also received a cake delivered as a courtesy in the evening.

However, we identified areas for improvement:

The food, excluding the non-Meraki special pizza, was rather average. The dinner khana set didn't stand out, and considering the cost, breakfast could be upgraded.

Navigating the property was challenging. Lack of clear instructions on spa activities and subsequent steps left us feeling frustrated, revealing a potential need for improved hospitality training.

The establishment seemed understaffed, impacting service efficiency.

The directions to the hotel from the main junction were unclear, lacking signage even when using Google Maps.

Addressing these points could transform this place into a gold mine for positive reviews and cater to even...

Just visited Meraki Wellness with friends after finding it on Instagram—and it was totally worth it! The place is full of greenery and has such a calm, relaxing vibe. Everyone there was super friendly, and the space felt perfect for taking a break from the usual stress. We tried the sauna and sound healing package—just 30 minutes but felt so refreshed and relaxed after. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the price felt fair. Food was decent, not amazing, but overall the experience was really good. They also offer massage, spa, and there’s enough parking too. Definitely recommend it if you need a quick escape from a hectic routine.
