During a recent family trip, I had stay at the Holiday Inn Resort located in the serene hills of Budhanilkantha. Nestled beside a lush green forest, the resort offers a tranquil escape from the city’s bustle. The natural setting is truly remarkable—each morning, we awoke to the calming sound of birdsong and the fresh scent of mountain air. It’s a perfect retreat for those seeking peace and natural beauty. I had booked a four-night stay for my family of three. Upon check-in, I was surprised to learn that we had been upgraded to a King Suite, thanks to my IHG tier status. However, the excitement quickly turned into confusion when I saw that the suite featured only one king-size bed. While the room itself was spacious and well-appointed, it was immediately clear that accommodating three people in a single bed would not be practical. When I raised this issue with the front desk, I was informed that adding an extra bed would incur an additional charge. This was surprising, as my reservation was clearly for three guests. Understandably, I expressed my concern and requested to speak with the General Manager. After some persistence, I was able to speak directly with Mr. Ajay Kumar, the GM of the hotel. I explained the situation, and to his credit, he immediately understood my concerns. Mr. Kumar acted quickly and efficiently to resolve the issue, ensuring we were comfortable Stay. His professionalism and willingness to listen made a lasting impression, and I truly appreciated the way he handled the matter. Despite the initial hiccup, the rest of our stay was wonderful. The resort’s peaceful surroundings, attentive staff, and well-maintained facilities made for a relaxing and enjoyable experience. My Thoughts: Holiday Inn Resort Budhanilkantha is a beautiful property with immense potential, especially for those looking to unwind in nature. While there was a moment of inconvenience during check-in, the responsive leadership and customer service ultimately turned the experience into a positive one.
