Hotel Mount Paradise — Hotel in Changunarayan Municipality

The entire Nagarkot Village is very beautiful. This property's location is such that it’s even better! It’s a 5 minute walk from the main market and Bus Stand area - so it's near to the hub but still far enough to avoid all the chaos, dust and noise of the area. Additionally, there is dense pine jungle just opposite the property. The jungle is restricted army area where you can’t enter but still the view itself is wonderful. Next to the hotel is Army Commando Training ground which is again beautiful and one can go there and sit in silence enjoying the serene surroundings and listen to the chirping birds and winds. As one walks further from the hotel, the views and scenery is more and more beautiful. Inside the hotel property too, you can see a lot of colorful birds singing around. The hotel has three types of rooms, a budget types at lower level, with common toilets, rooms with balcony and toilets above reception and dining area, and stand-alone room with balcony and terrace. The third one is the best one as you get a 360 degree view and can enjoy a great evening on the terrace with sunset view. However, the room size is extremely small, just enough to accommodate a queen sized bed. The washroom too was very small. However, that was not much of a problem for us as most of the time we were outside the room enjoying the place. Dinner was very tasty - just like home cooked food, and they serve it with warmth and love! The owner of the property is a very friendly person and would take care of his guests in every possible way. We engaged with him in interesting discussions regarding states of affairs of Nepal and he seemed to be a fairly knowledgeable person and we had really interesting discussions during dinner and breakfast. Actually at first I was confused about the place and the hotel of Nagarkot, Nepal. After We arrived in TIA, Nepal while I was informed that, Mr Mohan Das Shrestha has came to the Airport for pick us, I forgot all of my confusion. Because, he is the owner of the hotel and came here for kept his commitment with us whereas the driver who had been assigned for pick us from airport was busy with other assignment. After arrive to the hotel his staff welcome us as our family member. We had to extend our booking after being charmed by their behavior. We have never fell that, we are away from our own home. The property was alike our own home and all of the staff was like relatives. We found everything as well as our expectation and got Mr Mohan Das Shrestha as a friend and as a local guardian. While he could understood that we are feeling something necessary he makes it happen. About food, you can totally depend on them because they are making what is always good for your health. Location? Also great. So, I recommend everyone if you want to pass some times or some days in Nagarkote,Nepal you can freely think to stay at Hotel Mount paradise. A nice little hotel with good prices. ||Unfortunately there is no real view of the mountains from the rooms. ||The owner is very kind or seems so. He talked a lot to me, mainly about sexuality, I was the only guest there at that time, I am a female. One day before I checked out I came back from a little hike and ate a dhal soup. Immediately after I ate it everything collapsed, I was tired , I had heat flashes. He wrote me messages to come and drink tea with him, I had to say no twice. I got very sick and left the next day. ||The room was very moist. Just in my new appartment I realized how moist all my stuff in my backpack was from there. ||His sister seemed liked she didn’t want me there. Mohan told me from the beginning that his sister will not be here for cooking. But then she was there all the time and still no breakfast or lunch. For the dhal I asked Mohan if I could have a little bowl too bc I saw them eating.
