HOTEL MUKTINATH — Hotel in Gharapjhong

This is one of the worst hotels in the world. They are extremely greedy people.. Even if you book a buffet, they can ask for money even for giving one chapati extra, little curd extra... They even asked for money for heating 1 glass of water on their gas.. Food is extremely poor and very very costly. You can get much better food in Kathmandu at half the price. This is not a hotel, it's like a worst possible Dharamshala opened by greedy and ill-mannered owner and incompetent staff. Very bad experience. Will never ever visit again. And yes, pls Don't go by the rating, it's mostly provided by local guides...

This place is an absolute disgrace. They actually had the dining area right next to a foul-smelling toilet — I’m not exaggerating when I say the stench hit harder than the food ever could. Who thought it was a good idea to eat breakfast with the aroma of sewage in the air? The staff? Rude, careless, and looked like they'd rather be anywhere else. The food? Tasteless garbage that felt like an insult to my stomach. This isn't a hotel — it’s a health hazard dressed up as hospitality. Never coming back, and I wouldn’t wish this experience on my worst enemy. Even one star is too much...

I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. The owner was extremely rude and disrespectful to guests. Instead of handling issues professionally, they chose to argue and talk down to customers. It was shocking how little they cared about hospitality or basic manners.

Rooms were not clean, the service was nonexistent, and the attitude from management made it even worse. If you value your time, money, and dignity – do yourself a favor and stay far away from this place. There are plenty of better options out...
