I was planning to stay 2 nights at this hotel, until the hairdryer exploded in my face today whilst I was drying my hair. Left a black soot mark on my hand which I have attached a photo. Read moreReview for OMS House, Jomsom • Location: Excellent, with easy access to key spots in Jomsom. • Price: Expensive for the level of service provided. Not worth the cost. • Vibe: Great ambiance, cozy and comfortable. • Rooms & Cleanliness: Decent, but nothing special for the price. Could be better maintained. • Hospitality: Extremely poor. • Manager/receptionist Krishna Subedi was rude and unaccommodating. • No sense of hospitality or customer service. • Instead of making guests feel welcome, they seemed more concerned about enforcing unnecessary rules. • Continuously called and pressured us to return early to the hotel while we were out for dinner, which was completely unnecessary and ruined the experience. • No flexibility or effort to make guests comfortable. • Overall: The only good thing is the location and vibe. Service and hospitality are a complete letdown. Definitely not worth the price unless management improves significantly....
