I recently organized an 14 days stay at Hotel Welcome in Janakpur for a group of 18-19 people from my office. From the very beginning, the hotel was incredibly responsive to all our inquiries, promptly addressing any concerns we had. Locals rightly regard it as one of the best hotel in Janakpur, and it certainly lived up to its reputation.

The staff were attentive and efficient, always ready to provide prompt services. The rooms are spacious with proper Air conditioning, fan, bathroom with both cold & hot water. The pricing was very reasonable, especially considering the quality of accommodation and amenities offered. The food was delicious, and the hotel has multiple spacious halls suitable for various events. We did find a fault one in our food but the hotel management apologized and addressed it quickly.

Their airport pick-up and drop-off services were punctual and efficient, making our travel arrangements hassle-free. While the rooms were impeccably clean, some attention to maintaining cleanliness in the public toilets is highly recommended.

Reasons for 4 ⭐ Clean spacious room (with AC, fan, wardrobe, tea set, and TV) Clean attached bathroom (with basic toiletries; u don't need to worry about shampoo, toothbrush and toothpaste) Friendly and welcoming staffs Good food (A must try Butter "Roti" and Daal Fry) Proximity from Janakpur Airport and Janaki Mandir (UNESCO world heritage site) Most important!!! They shifted my room when I complained presence of rat in my room. Do not stay in room no. 202. There is a hole in the ceiling area near window. Make sure it's fixed before staying there.

Reasons for not giving 5⭐ Extremely weak WiFi (regular problem) "Lassi" (cold drink made of youghurt) is not up to the par. The staffs forgot to inform me about cleaning water tank. I nearly ran out of water while taking shower. (This is not a regular issue; things like these happen sometimes) Despite being a family hotel, please take extra care if ur staying at this hotel with kids.
