We’ve just spent three nights at this amazing place. We’d originally planned to try and stay lakeside in Begnas Tal but it was 100% the right decision to stay up here instead: there isn’t a lakeside destination per se; the views from Himalaya Serene are stunning; from this location you can access a variety of nice self-guided walks including to either Begnas Tal or Rupa Tal. The expansive gardens of the guest house are phenomenal, with so many flowers and birds and beautiful views of Begnas Lake and the Himalayas. Our room was so well-appointed with extra long, super-comfortable beds, a balcony with excellent views, comfortable lounging chairs in the room and a powerful and hot shower. But all this is incidental. The true charm of staying here is the exceptional hospitality. The food is the best I’ve had in Nepal, lovingly made with ingredients from the farm, even the ghee and honey. We would have loved to have stayed longer (we had planned 2 nights but stayed 3 - would have stayed a week but were behind schedule) and hope to return. For nature lovers...

We LOVED our stay here! It is so beautiful and peaceful. The food is AMAZING. So fresh as almost everything comes from their garden! The family is so kind and welcoming. It is worth it to stay here instead of by the lake or in Pokhara. We don’t regret it one bit. The rooms are very large and very clean. The beds are comfortable and the showers are powerful and hot, the rooms have large fans that help with the heat here. They have wonderful animals that are so friendly. I would suggest looking no further and booking here! We extended our two night stay to 4 nights and wish that we could stay longer. Oh and it has an amazing view of the Annapurna mountain range!

The only downside I would say is that I wish I could see their beautiful cow Sadie be able to graze and walk around like cows do. She was tied up the whole time and was unable to...

I was at Serene Himalaya during a recent family trip to Nepal and it was a wonderful experience staying at this lovely place. The location is simply spell bounding especially with the fantastic view we get of the Himalayas. Whether it is enjoying early morning or relaxing over the evening, it was a super experience indeed. The ambiance and well maintained place made us feel it's a perfect choice for our holiday. The quality of food, courtesy of the staff added very much to the enriching experience. Overall a very good place and gave us a perfect Himalayan...

Stayed here end March 2025 with a small group of motorbike riders and guide team. At that time a bit difficult to arrive at this stay due to roadworks in the town below (outskirts of Pokhara). Good and spacious rooms. Wonderful views (provided that the sky is clear and unpolluted with dust). Very nice personnel and good food and drinks. Very good breakfast in the morning. Kitchen showed us how they roast, grind and make coffee. We received a small flower and red stripe on our foreheads to wish us a safe and good continuation of our trip. It worked!
