Hotel Day Break — Hotel in Pokhara

We took a short-ride to this cozy corner after an adventurous day in greater Pokhara area. For a very reasonable price, we had a package for bedroom with free wifi and parking. The place was clean and well-managed and came with shared facilities including a bar with local and international choices, peaceful dining & lounging areas, and a truly scenic patio. The view of the lake from the patio, perched atop a small hill, was one of my memorable moments during my stay in Pokhara. The authentic Nepali dishes made from fresh local vegetables and fish were worth every penny. We actually got to see local fish and vegetables shops that supplied the hotel, before we left. The biggest takeaway was the hospitality we received. The hotel was owned and run by a family and it showed. They were very nice and ensured we were at comfort. They went to a great length to accommodate our last-minute request for a dinghy ride in the local lake and we are quite grateful for that. Can’t recommend this place enough! We thought we might stay 2 nights but ended up staying 4 nights because we loved it so much! Everything from the comfort of the beds to the staff was fabulous! This place definitely meets western standards. The restaurant in hotel was wonderful as well. We enjoyed the majority of our meals there with the great the view of the lake. You are super close to the town and talking distance to the lake. Also, you can walk to the hotel from the bus station - it’s only 5 minutes. Definitely recommend staying here if you want a great value for your money. We had some very poor experiences before we stumbled upon this place. Some added perks were you can get your food delivered to your room and they supply water bottles so me never needed to spend extra...
