I've never seen a hotel with so much potentials and at the same time a hotel that could be described as a hell! ||In my opinion the staff are responsible for my poor rating - a bunch of ill mannered, uninterested people hardly speaking any English ... I've never felt so unwelcome! ||Setting are undoubtedly lovely ... fantastic views! And that is all!||Our very first disappointment was impossibility of getting in touch with the hotel regarding transportation. Immediately after the booking (through booking.com) I've sent them an email and there was no answer. I've tried the same through their web page with the same result. Finally I asked a receptionist in our previous hotel to call them and it seemed to be a right decision because they do not read/understand mails!||The second one was our room: it was supposed to be "superior" boasting lake views - we were showed in a pretty depressing room with hardly any views at all. Of course we asked to change the room asking for a room with a better views and they reluctantly agreed with the comment that second room was smaller ... And it surely was! There was enough space to put a bed in it, no wardrobe closet, just a tiny TV on the wall (my laptop has a bigger screen!)||Being hungry we decided to stay in the hotel and try our luck with their restaurant. What a mistake! Grilled pork chops were in fact some small pieces of deep fried fresh bacon ... horror! Next morning a breakfast was a bit better but very far from something one may expect from 3* hotel.||Obviously lots of furniture in the hotel was brand new, many chairs had still plastic foil on and it was pretty clear that someone did invest a lot trying to make the stay better. My message to that person(s): unless you train the staff all your money will be wasted!||And a message to all that have intention to visit this hotel: if you can sacrifice your commodity and comfort for really stunning views this...
Read moreMy friend and I wanted to go to Begnas lake for the day (which was totally worth it) and unfortunately stayed at Seven Lake Paradise. There is seemingly no management, the staff looked bored and disinterested and were not recognizable due to no uniform/badges (one wore the same football shirt two days in a row). We gained access to the hotel by walking up a lot of steep steps - thankfully we did not have much with us - and then were shown our room. It was clearly advertised as having two double beds and when we got there there was only one - we disputed this with the member of staff but were told that this was the room we had booked, which meant that we had to book an additional room. We had to go back and ask for the time of breakfast (which was included in the price and advertised as 'superb'). We ate and were provided with a cup of tea or coffee and then no choice for food - we had toast and an omelette - I am not a fan of egg but managed some of it (I certainly would not have ordered it if I had been given a choice). We settled up in the bar with no 'thank you' and left. We tried to speak to management but was advised that there would be no one for an hour and we given a number and an email - we emailed them and got no response. Do not...
