My recent stay at Sarangkot Resort in Pokhara was absolutely fantastic! From the moment I stepped foot into the resort until the day of departure, the entire experience was nothing short of remarkable. I would like to express my heartfelt appreciation to Sanju, Kamal, and the entire staff for their warm hospitality and going above and beyond to make my stay truly memorable.

The resort itself is nestled amidst the stunning natural beauty of Pokhara. The moment I arrived, I was greeted with breathtaking views of the Himalayan mountain range, including the magnificent Annapurna and Machhapuchhre peaks. The location is simply unparalleled, offering a serene and tranquil atmosphere that is perfect for relaxation and rejuvenation.

The rooms at Sarangkot Resort were spacious, clean, and tastefully decorated. The comfortable bed ensured a good night's sleep, and the amenities provided were of top-notch quality. Waking up to the panoramic views of the mountains from my balcony was an absolute treat every morning.

What truly set this resort apart was the exceptional service provided by the staff. Sanju, Kamal, and their team were attentive, friendly, and always ready to assist with a genuine smile. They made me feel like a valued guest and took care of every detail to ensure my stay was flawless. Their knowledge and dedication were commendable.

The resort's restaurant offered a delectable range of cuisines, including both local and international dishes. The food was delicious, prepared with fresh ingredients, and beautifully presented. Dining at the restaurant, with its panoramic windows overlooking the mountains, was a feast for the senses.

During my stay, I had the opportunity to experience the resort's spa and wellness facilities. The spa treatments were divine, providing a perfect balance of relaxation and rejuvenation.

Overall, Sarangkot Resort in Pokhara exceeded my expectations in every way. The combination of breathtaking views, comfortable accommodations, and exceptional service made it a truly unforgettable experience. I highly recommend this resort to anyone visiting Pokhara, and I extend my sincere gratitude to Sanju, Kamal, and the entire staff for their outstanding hospitality. I look forward to returning to Sarangkot Resort in the future!

Overview Not value for money @ US280/night 3 Star at best western standard Staff are great most speak some English Lodge owner has not invested in refinement to gain higher Star rating View is great (if there is no cloud)

Positives Staff are great. Nim the security guard is happy and helpful. Pawan the manager was very helpful and speaks good English. We went for dinner at another nearby restaurant as the reviews at this Lodge were poor. The staff offered to take us and pick us up from the lodge, now that was good service. Also in the morning when we left Pawan delivered us and our bags to the cable car in a vehicle which was great service by him. I also asked for some fresh milk in our room. The cleaners told me there is a fee. However later in the day the good staff delivered me a nice jug of warm milk, great work cleaners going the extra mile. And one last mention of Agra in the bar on the roof, he delivered nice cool beer to my wife in the pool and a bowl of peanuts. Was most thoughtful.

View from our balcony was great although standing room only. No hand rail so careful with kids.

King bed comfortable but the sheets didn’t fit. My feet slept on the mattress material. Sheets were also stained.

Bath was nice, hot and shape suited my body

Wifi was fairly reliable for us and relatively fast.

The design of the lodge is ok but the finish is not refined.

Negatives Pool unheated therefore too cold to swim in also unsafe for children

Staff seem under pressure from the owner Roshan Sapkota. Staff are very polite and always busy but cannot meet expectations of the owner. I would say the lodge is under staffed. Mr Roshan Sapkota owns five hotels.

Food Breakfast is included but don’t expect a 4 or 5 Star western breakfast. The breakfast for Nepalese may have been great. I guess we assumed that when we paid US280 we expected something pretty special for breakfast. I had; poached eggs-pale and no flavor not recommended Mr Roshan Sapkota would do well to use free range eggs chicken sausages-minced is ok noodles-good toast and jam-not recommended bread crumbly and tasteless. Jam is rubbish made with coloring, water, gelatin and sugar. cappuccino-is good fruit-orange no flavor, banana good, pineapple no flavor Yoghurt good

Drinking water tea and coffee limited in the room. No fresh milk for drinks in the room

What can I say but simply incredible hospitality, warmth and kindness from eveyone! Upon arrival, my friend & received received the most heartfelt reception. I booked a 6 night stay to celebrate my 50th and it exceeded my expectations at every level. Not only did we get an incredible reception on arrival with music and singing, a private dinner was ready and waiting with the room/ balcony kindly decorated for the celebration. I was blown away. Thank you to Jay and Sanju for arranging it all, it was memorable and the best surprise I could have received! This just summarised the whole stay, where the staff just couldn't do enough for you. ||So many people made our stay wonderful, the management (Sanju and the other gentleman I can't recall name!), Bibek, Kalpona, Jay, Seeser (certain I've spelt name wrong). The service was outstanding by all! What a friendly bunch.||The hotel itsself was stunning, set in the hilltop, overlooking the mountains. Sadly we had cloudy weather so didn't quite catch the sunrise or sunsets (a reason to go back again!) The room was lovely and cosy, with everything we needed, balcony, mountain views, plus complimentary snacks and fruit. Fantastic rooftop bar and pool, food and drinks were great. The spa was also wonderful, we had some lovely massages given by Rajita and Binita, these girls were so sweet, and packed a punch with their massages! ||All in all, such a charming hotel with incredibly lovely staff. I will definitely be going back to stay in the future and want to catch the beautiful sunrise and sunsets I've read so much about .Thank you all for your hospitality,...

From the moment you arrive at the hotel, you are instantly a family member of SML. It was a strenuous time as we had landed in Nepal in the middle of the dangerous Gen Z protest. The army and curfews were everywhere and we sought help from almost every Nepalese we knew. SML assured us that we will be in safe hands and sent a car to pick us up from PKR. From then, all our worries disappeared. Such a warm welcome with the traditional singing and greetings from every single staff in the hotel, including the workers behind the scenes (chef, housekeepers, security guards, drivers, and guides). The food, gosh. I think my wife and I have gained about 3 to 5 kgs from our five days stay here in the hotel. I don’t want to check my weight. This hotel is peaceful, quiet, extremely romantic, and has all the five star amenities that we expect of. Besides being located at the perfect vantage point to view the Himalayan range, there is a direct tracking route to Kaskikot & the paragliding take-off point. The zipline is next to the property. And the Annapurna cable car, just a 10 minute walk away. They own a passenger van to take you anywhere you want to go, and have a vast network of guides, drivers, excursions, and so much more in all of Pokhara to carry out your plans and activities. Here are a few key frontline staff members who have helped make us feel so much at home – Sanju, Anchal, Ujjwol, Rojesh, Sohel, Kalpana, Bibek, Raj, and many more who couldn’t get any facetime with us while working diligently in the background to make our stay ultra comfortable. All we could say is “Dhanyabat” and see you in 2026.

This was one of the most pleasurable experiences I have had staying at a hotel. The location and the view from was simply unforgettable. The staff were extremely helpful. The only reason I am giving it a 4 star on service is because the road leading up to the resort was under construction, and the work around was twice as long as which we were not given a heads up to. But, in the end it was all worth it for the view and the experience. A hand written note from the resort was a personal touch i was not expecting. The food was amazing with a lot of variety. I especially enjoyed porridge during my stay here. the room was extremely cozy and very peaceful with a full view of the mountains depending on the weather. There were a few activities to do around the resort like hiking, zip lines and cycling. The cycles, when I was there were worn down and needed maintenance, another reason I cannot give 5 stars to the service. Would recommend a visit for anyone who likes mountain views. Looking back i am compelled to add a few things regarding my experience. For the price, I did expect dinner to be included. The roof top pool seems to be very small for a pool. In my personal opinion, it is there just to cater to the needs of Instagram.
