Horizon Homestay — Hotel in Tansen

If you want to know the local culture, food , festival and their glorious history then must stay in Homestay. |We have got a opportunity to stay here in city view Homestay. A small family running this one. Mr. Manmohan uncle and his family is the best host ,he is 74yrs old but looking like 60 yrs. He is a retired professor and very knowledgeable and humble person. Aunty and her daughter is a very caring and great cook also.|It's a home away from your home. What to say... It's my second experience with Horizon Homestay and probably not the last one. They have a gift to make you feel like home, like part of their family. They treat you so well with small gifts, good food and marvelous hospitality.

Rooms are comfortable, hot water works. I love the fact that you can choose to have dinner with them at night all together in the kitchen :) The rooms on the top floor are really nice, with the private bathroom and balcony and makes you feel like in your own little place :)

Location is uphill so be prepared to walk up and down a lot (which wasn't a problem for me) but it also gives you a nice view of Tansen.

This was just our best cultural experience in Nepal! ||We stayed 3 days with Janaki, Dhani, Abhi & Indu, and we immediately felt part of the family, as they are so friendly and welcoming. We had so many interesting chats and played Uno & mikados together - it was so funny! ||The view from the balcony is spectacular at sunrise & sunset. The breakfasts & dinners are good and plentiful, with varying options every day. ||They even offered us a goodbye gift, which really warmed our hearts. ||We will definitely stay there again if we come back to Nepal.||To the whole family: you’re more than welcome in our home in Belgium if you ever visit Europe!
