Prem Bardiya Village Homestay, Betahani — Hotel in Thakurbaba

Fantastic home stay ! I was welcome as a family member. I am travelling by myself, I felt very safe to this home. The food is amazing, Santos and his family are friendly, smiling and happy to show you their culture. It is an exceptional place to chill, relax and take time to walk in the village or near the river. I saw amazing birds and the nature is just ... amazing as well ! The bed was comfortable, I got my private room and bathroom. The price is more than correct. It was an amazing adventure to the jungle with my two guides : Santos and Trilak. They know very well the wildlife place. Thanks a lot to everyone !!!! It is staying a wonderful memorie. If I go back to Bardyia, without hesitation, I will go over there again...

We stayed 3 nights with Prem and his family. They are all very friendly. The place is beautiful, with traditional houses (but with proper shower and western toilet) and many flowers and trees. Food was very tasty. You can swim in the river across the road and watch monkeys playing in the forest. Prem and his nephew Santos guided us through the National Park and took good care of us. We spent two beautiful days strolling around there, looking for wildlife, crossing rivers, climbing trees, having rest in the hammock. It was exciting, and much fun. You look for a quiet little personal place where you feel instantly welcome? The rooms are big, clean and cool. Food is healthy and delicious. Prem and his nephew Santosh are really good guides.
