We recently stayed at the Mango Tree Lodge for five nights, and it was an unforgettable experience. This family-run lodge offers a perfect blend of comfort, hospitality, and adventure, making it an ideal choice for nature enthusiasts and travelers seeking tranquility.
The accommodations were charming and well-maintained, with spacious rooms. The peaceful surroundings, nestled near Bardia National Park, added to the lodge's appeal. The highlight of my stay was undoubtedly the food—home-cooked by the owner's wife. Every meal was a culinary delight, featuring fresh, locally sourced ingredients.
One of the standout features of Mango Tree Lodge is its expertly organized excursions into Bardia National Park. The owner and his team are highly knowledgeable guides who ensure each safari is both safe and thrilling. During my stay, I participated in a variety of activities, including jeep safaris and walking tours, which offered incredible opportunities to spot wildlife such as elephants, rhinos, and even Bengal tigers. The guides' passion for conservation and their deep respect for nature made these experiences even more meaningful.
A must-try activity is the overnight camping trip in the national park. Everything was meticulously arranged—from comfortable tents to delicious meals under the stars—allowing us to immerse ourselves in the wilderness without any worries. This unique experience added an adventurous touch to our stay and left lasting memories.
Overall, Mango Tree Lodge exceeded my expectations in every way. The combination of warm hospitality, delicious food, and thrilling adventures makes it a destination I would highly recommend to anyone visiting Bardia National Park. I can't...

Mr Rajen’s a born story teller with endless accounts of his time in India and Nepal, and if you give him the opportunity no other means of entertainment is needed. As everywhere in Nepal, guests are given free roam of the land and amenities, with no questions asked, every need subtly met and every curiosity sated by Mr Rajen and his plethora of knowledge and eons of experience as a naturalist. His son Bijay was available at our every beck and call with his humble demeanour, providing for all our outrageous demands. If you do visit, Nepal’s Messi’s gonna take care of your every touristy and...
