Bed and Breakfast Raapop — Hotel in Arnhem

I was staying for two days at the B&B Lenie and I could not recommend the place enough. The place is a beautiful Dutch house and I was feeling at home there. From the very start, even in the mail exchanges, I was given a very warm welcome. My wishes were accommodated, the hosts were very patient and flexible, not to mention, very friendly as well. I thoroughly enjoyed every moment of my stay. I had delicious breakfast kept warm for me, also pleasing the eye the way food was presented, its variety and choice. There was beautiful porcelain, I love such style, the breakfast room was festive to me. Anything one may need or forget was there. Not only towels, but a bathrobe, all kinds of bathroom items one may need. I had a single room which I actually found spacious, with the window on the lovely garden. My bed was very comfortable, Lenie explained this was a very special mattrace. The bathroom was just next to the room, the toilet half a stairway below, but that was not a problem to me. What I enjoyed the most was the friendliness of the hosts and their sense of humour. Last but not least, it takes some 10 minutes or less on the bus to be in the very center of the city, there is frequent and easy connection. I actually took a bike and was cycling in the neighbourhood and I discovered a beautiful park just in the area. I highly recommend the place and the experience...

Urgh it's hard to elaborate how brilliant a time I had at B&B Lenie and how it really enhanced our trip to Arnhem too! The breakfasts were very much welcome and very healthy and kept us going throughout the day and the room was very cosy too. The house is beautiful and very relaxing. Lenie and her husband Dick were really lovely hosts and even offered us a lift to the train station on our last day there (which we needed after all the walking we did). ||||Arnhem itself is amazing, very beautiful and very clean with a lot of things to do and see and the people are very friendly and helpful. We travelled to Oosterbeek for the Airborne museum and was awed by how beautiful it is, the architecture of some of the houses was amazing. The Museum was also fantastic and will be a must for anyone interested in WW2 history. We also visited the war cemetery in Oosterbeek, a very sobering experience but just as important as the Museums and the bridge in remembering the events that took place. ||||I am already missing Arnhem and the B&B and will most definitely visit again, next time I will be prepared and learn a little Dutch before...

We had an amazing short weekend away with friends at this beautiful B&B. ||The house is really nice at a good location. It's quiet so you won't be bothered by noise. A bus stops nearby and very frequently which brings you to the city center within a couple of minutes. Late at night for your way back, busses still go frequent enough. ||The house has an amazing atmosphere and is very nicely furnished. You immediately feel at home. ||The breakfast is very extensive, healthy and fresh. ||The host and hostess ensure that you're pampered! ||I can only highly recommend...
