Although my company is having an agreement with that hotel, they rejected to let me in as I didn’t bring Euros and they knew that I only have US dollars. I arrived at 11:30 pm and I already make the booking before arrival - payment upon my arrival. When the lady at the reception knew that I don’t have Euros, she informed me that I won’t be able to stay in. I tried to contact my colleagues at Breda to help me and make the payment although i told her to take US dollars and I promised to change the money next morning and she still refused. She also informed me that if i leave the hotel, she will also send the invoice to my company to get a payment. Lady was very stubborn and was talking in a rude way especially after checking my passport and knew that I’m muslim and from Egypt. I started to check other solutions by offering that i can pay for one night using my friend’s card, she rejected as well. I started talking to her colleague and informed him that i will inform my company about this situation and suddenly she just showed up and loudly in a very arrogant way “YOU AFE IMPOLITE, GO THE FK AWAY AND TALK TO WHOEVER THE FK AT YOUR COMPANY AND TAKE YOUR F**K LUGGAGE”. I took my stuff and left the hotel till my colleague helped me in the payment as I couldn’t find any place to stay that night. ||The funny part, that i dropped an email to her manager “Dennis” and he told me that this shouldn’t happen and yes it’s not a nice way and i found her next day working normally in the reception. ||THIS HOTEL IS UNPROFESSIONAL, SUPPORTING RACISM, DISCRIMINATION.||WORST...
Read moreLocation of the hotel is perfect in the city center. The hotel does not have its own parking. External (covered) parking is available (10 euros per 24 hours). It is a pity that the hotel does not provide this service to guestse - for my opinion it lowers its prestige.
The hotel itself is beautiful, the rooms stunning and well decorated.
Don't know why but in most hotels in the Netherlands the heating does not work! The air conditioner took out cold air even though I was aiming for 28 degrees. The heating system worked but hardly felt (the hotel must understand that there are guests from warm countries and therefore want significant heating)
The check-in process was very quick but on the other hand too fast, important information was not communicated to us and we had to call to the receptions in order to understand that the code of the internet are located on the envelope of the room card, or when we need to check out the room and etc.

Read moreWe came for three days only. What a wonderful city is Beda! Our stay in this hotel was perfect from the very first time we stepped on it. The hall is elegant, the room was quite big with very comfortable beds, and very good size in the bathroom. The cleaning top ten. On top of these the staff deserve my best compliments. We have travelled a lot, all around the world, and we have never found people as kind as them, without any doubt. We came to Breda to solve some issues and we have found the most helpful people ever. Their patience, their willingness to hear and help us was priceless. Thank you Floyd, thank you Dwarissa in particular, but thanks as well to those we didn't ask their names and were very attentive and friendly too.
