❄️❤️Our stay at the Beachhouse Hotel in Zandvoort over Christmas 🤶 was an absolute delight. Despite experiencing a massive storm during our stay, we felt cosy and comfortable, largely thanks to the warm and friendly hotel staff. From the moment we checked in until the time we left, we were treated to exemplary customer service that significantly added to the holiday spirit. The personal touch was seen in everything from their professional attitude to the personalised attention they paid to each guest. A highlight of our stay was definitely the breakfast, especially the 🤶 Christmas stollen, which added an authentic festive touch to our mornings. The delicious meal, coupled with the serene and peaceful atmosphere of the hotel, set the right tone for the rest of the day. Moreover, we found the hotel's location to be advantageous. It provided us with an excellent opportunity to stroll along the beach with our dog, while marvelling at the stunning view. The environment around the hotel is nothing short of idyllic. All in all, our Christmas 🤶 ❄️ vacation at the Beachhouse Hotel in Zandvoort was an experience we'll cherish. Perfect Location, Great Breakfast, and Close to the F1 Circuit! I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Beachhouse Hotel and I wholeheartedly recommend it. The hotel boasts a perfect location, situated right on the beach and just a stone's throw away from the F1 circuit. Moreover, it's only a 30-minute drive from bustling Amsterdam, making it an ideal base for a diverse vacation. The breakfast at the Beachhouse Hotel was exceptional. There was a wide variety of fresh and tasty options to choose from, ensuring a great start to the day. The attentive staff ensured a smooth dining experience, quickly replenishing any items that were running low. Being located across the street from the F1 circuit is an excellent advantage for racing enthusiasts. The proximity allows for easy access to events and a unique, exciting atmosphere. The 30-minute distance to Amsterdam is another great feature, as it allows guests to enjoy the beach and serenity of the hotel while still being able to explore the vibrant city life in the Dutch capital. In conclusion, the Beachhouse Hotel provides a fantastic stay with its perfect location, delicious breakfast, and close proximity to both the F1 circuit and Amsterdam. Positiv: Strandnähe, Ausblick, Parken am gesamten Boulevard und einigen ausgewählten Strassen in der Stadt möglich, hohes Boxspringbett mit 2x2m Bettdecke (keine 2 Einzeldecken), grosse Dusche, Kaffee , Obst und Tee sowie( mit Zitrone und Minze automatisiertes) Wasser 24h inklusive, Ausblick, komplett zu öffnende Fensterfront, Sonnenbrillen gratis, 2 Flaschen Wasser a 330ml gratis. Sehr schöne Bar, allerdings noch nicht in Betrieb. Negativ: möchte man den Blick vom Bett aufs Meer geniessen so wird man von den Besuchern draussen beobachtet da die Terasse direkt vor den Fenstern liegt ( von aussen verspiegelte Fenster, eine Markise oder Dach über der Terasse, von aussen blickdichte Folie anbringen könnte hier Abhilfe schaffen) Zum Frühstück auf der Terasse kann man dann ungewollt schonmal das bei offenem Fenster aktive Pärchen im Bett beobachten. Auch stehen 2 Reihen Bungalows vor dem Hotel deren Bewohner ebenfalls freies Sichtfeld haben, wenn man die Rolläden nicht hoch macht um den Blick aufs Meer zu geniessen. Wofür man eigentlich ja zahlt. Lässt man des Nachts die Rolläden auf so ist es taghell im Zimmer, da auf der Terasse Lichter brennen. Morgens schauen dann ziemlich früh (bei uns 5.30Uhr) auch schon die ersten Terassenbesucher ins Zimmer während man mit verschlafenen Augen aufsteht um die Rolläden hochzuziehen und sich dann erinnert das man ja bis auf die Unterhose(zum Glück wenigstens das) nichts an hat. Frühstück ist sehr teuer und es wird wenig geboten, kaum nachgefüllt, spät dreckiges Geschirr verräumt. (Da nur eine Person für Rezeption, Küche, Buffet,Service zuständig ist.) Es ist auch möglich das man runter kommt und drinnen kein Platz mehr frei ist. Da es keinen Platz zum warten gibt bleibt man also im engen Gang stehen, setzt sich an die (noch nicht in Betrieb genommene) Bar mitten im Frühstücksraum oder nach draussen (ungünstig bei mancher Wetterlage). Geschirr ist auch tagsüber rar. Gläser für Machiato oder Tee waren eigentlich nie vorhanden es sei denn man suchte selbst im Schrank oder der Spülmaschine danach. Das Bad ist winzig, gar kleiner als die Dusche und es gibt keine Möglichkeit Handtücher aufzuhängen ausser zwei kleine Haken im Bad. Allerdings haben die Handtücher auch keine Schlaufen zum aufhängen Das Waschbecken ist etwa ein Drittel als ein Standardbecken. Der Blick aus der Dusche zum Meer ist unschlagbar. Da aber auch hier das Problem des von draussen reinsehen besteht wäre eine Milchglasfolie zumindest bis zur Mitte von Vorteil. Natürlich kann man auch nachts bei ausgeschalteten Licht duschen um nicht unbedingt beobachtet zu werden. Mit Licht in der Dusche und Dunkelheit draussen steht man toll auf dem Präsentierteller Alles ist sehr eng, Treppenhaus, Flur, Bad, Rezeptionschalter. Im Zimmer gibt es das Doppelbett, einen Tisch mit Holzstuhl, einen Sessel, einen Kleiderschrank mit kleinem Safe, 2 Nachttische (ohne Schubladen). Um die Fenster zu öffnen muss man Sessel und Nachttisch verschieben. Der Eingang des Hotel ist schwer zu finden. vom Parkplatz aus kein Zugang. Man muss erst etwas den Boulevard entlang und dann runter. Ein hinweisschild das der Eingang unten ist und man rum gehen muss sollte hier angebracht werden. Das winzigkleine Schild hinten am Haus "Eingang 50m" ist irreführend da man nicht weiss welcher Weg gemeint ist. Ein Informationsblatt mit Serviceleistungen des Hotels, sowie Uhrzeiten zu Frühstück, Check Out etc. auf dem Zimmer wären wünschenswert. Eine Minibar oder einen Kühlschrank im Zimmer gibt es nicht. Auch keine Bar oder die Möglichkeit gekühlte Getränke zu bekommen. Für eine Nacht ist es okay. Für einen längeren Aufenthalt würde ich etwas anderes buchen. Den Preis den man für den Ausblick zahlt ist es nicht wert, es sei denn man möchte gerne beobachtet werden.
