Strand Noord Strandpaviljoen 26 — Local services in Zandvoort

Honestly speaking the service was terrible. The restaurant was maybe filled to max 50%. We were a group of eight and just wanted to escape the sunshine for a drink (30°C temperature) and took our seat. Because nobody came for 10 minutes we thought we grab an ice from the self-service and wait for the waitress as they said us that you can order drinks only at the table if you want to sit. So far so ok, but we waited another 15 Minutes, eating our ice completely and when we just finished the waitress came and asked if we want to order. We denied as were done and did not want to spend any further time and money there. They waitress, obviously pissed just made a move and said get out, then also the the service man from the toilet joined in and blamed us for our "German " behaviour and that we only at an ice. Oh wonder, because we had to wait 25 minutes until at least somebody came in a non-fully seated Restaurant. One of the worst places I have visited!!! Expensive cost of time and money for nothing. Swimming at this site is very dangerous !!! (four people drowned due to this state of tidal waves and two of them were hospitalized). Parking is very expensive. Services are not available for free. Rudest waiter we've ever encountered! We waited 30 minutes to be served, and when he finally came over, he greeted us in Dutch, and when we switched to English, his attitude changed completely. He just said that we couldn't sit there because we were DIRTY. Yes, we had just come from a colour run, so we were covered in colour powder, but we were FAR from the only ones, and it's not harder to clean than sand!
