Not The Best I'M Afraid!

The two stars are for the service ladies. They are warm and friendly. The location is also convenient - there is a dairy and hairdresser across the motel and it is 5 min drive to Pukekohe centre. The manager is RUDE! Mine was a long term stay. One day, at the middle of my stay he came at 9:30 am and forced me to move from my room to another! He knew that I have mobility issues and that it would be very difficult for me to pack, shift and unpack, but that didn't stop him.

The rooms are dated and the appliances, especially the fridge in rooms 2 and 5 are long past their "Use by" date. Rusty, noisy and smelly. Room 2 has a decent internet connection, but room 5, which is down the driveway has no internet. One must go outside to make a phone call or to hook up on the net. I do not recommend BK's Counties...

We picked this motel because it was quite close to facilities such as a small supermarket and Chinese fast food outlet. We paid $173.60 for a Premium Studio Room but it really didn't come up to standard in that it wasn't consistent with other similar priced rooms next door. I must add though the room was clean and tidy with a good little kitchenette. Bathroom was tiled with a good shower and quality complimentary lotions etc. Had a small swimming pool outside but state of loungers weren't good. Irritating in trying to book out the office was locked despite being well within office hours. Fortunately we had prepaid but other guests wanting to pay their bill would have been left waiting seems understaffed. Overall not really happy but could be a ideal Motel for salesmen or...

It was okay but we arrived and there was no one at reception despite having let them know we’d be arriving at 8.30pm after a flight from abroad. No light outside reception so we couldn’t see the note that said to call them. Another guest helped us with that. We got into the room gagging for a cup of tea but there was no milk. A staff member came after being phoned, but seemed grumpy. Having said that, I think they’d had an emergency - fair enough. Then the upstairs guests arrived home and we had two hours of the kids upstairs running around on our ceiling - yay! Really over priced at $240 tbh. Dated but clean.
