Absolutely appalled and disappointed. Buttermilk chicken thighs- black and burnt and tastes like Indian spices yet no mention of this being 'the flavor' definitely not crispy golden butter milk coated.

St loius ribs, high quality hard bone rib rack with extra meatiness right? I took a bite of the meat and got a mouthful of soft soggy brittle bone. This is NOT how anyone should want to experience eating ribs no matter what the chef tries to say it is not because of the type of rib. It is over cooked and frozen then thawed. Water logged and absolutely disgusting. Look at the picture and decide for yourself if this is what you'd like to bite into trying to decide what is perishing gritty bone crumbs or meat with every mouthful ? Thankfully I didnt waste effort for a second bite..

Flat bread. Completely bland and after touching one small piece I think i had enough oil to fry my own real buttermilk...

Booked a table for Saturday evening. Bar less than half full at 7.30 and almost empty by 8.30. Very pushy, in your face, waitress. Ordered drinks of which 3 were wrong and I waited ages for mine. Food not fabulous and not worth the money. Dry chicken breast, runny risotto that was more like a sauce and impossible to eat with a knife and fork. Waitress trying to carry out a questionnaire about the meals during the meal when we would have just liked to eat them as they weren't overly warm. Waitress also twice asking us about whether we would be ordering dessert as we were eating our mains, then telling us that there was only one dessert left and would we be wanting to order it. How can you only have a choice of 1 dessert at 8.30 on a Saturday evening? The bar had no atmosphere and we certainly won't be...

This was my first visit since the rebranding and refurbishment. I must I was quite pleased with the decor, was much more welcoming than the last business.

We were glad that we had booked ahead as it was quite busy, being an warm autumn evening it was nice and refreshing to have the windows wide open and a cool breeze blowing while we dined.

I had the Lemon Chicken washed down by a Black Dog Golden Lab beer, my wife had the Steak Sandwich. Both meals were very nice and just about the right size for a light meal. We did struggle to make our choices of food as there were so many good options worth trying.

The staff were nice and friendly, the food was reasonably priced as well. It makes a good place to come with family and friends including children.

We'll be back to try another yummy...
