I wouldn't even give this place 1 star!!! When we arrived there was a dirty towel in our room. We told the cleaner about it and she did nothing until my husband mentioned it again the next day. The kitchen down stairs was full of dirty dishes and random washing towel etc. We were not aware we had to pay for new towels so I guess we were lucky the gave us a.new set We checked in the didn't even confirm all our information or payment and asked for the details again. They act like its a privilege to stay at their weird accommodation but honestly I think it would be better post operation to stay somewhere comfy and clean that's close to Omission Hospital. Really weird environment. Was unhappy that the hospital recommended this place. Beds were sorft NOT good for recovery. One of the nights the Indian guys were having an intense conversation with an European man it felt tense . Overall I would not recommend this place. Its disgusting!! Customer service is disgusting!!! I accidently left a face wash in the bath room which we called about three time. They advised the cleaner threw it in the rubbish as they felt it was empty The face wash costed more than their budget shampoos and conditioner.
They also advised if any lost property is left there the cleaners may claim it or dispose it without contact.
Its a lesson for me. And first time I have experienced this type of customer service. Will never go back . And also let the hospital know of this shocking behavior!!! I would have definitely paid more for comfort and cleanliness considering I was recommended the place from the hospital. As for the face wash it should have been a choice. Read moreToo far from Auckland. Located in a new overly crowded subdivision with no access to anything. Without a car, you're lost. It's located in a home and has misleading photos and descriptions. On the phone a very professional sounding "very busy" attendant, makes it seem like you're accessing a bustling hotel. In fact it's just a ruse. The "scam" was so appaent that my taxi driver took photos of the place and promised to sent them to me for my records. If you're a local NZ resident and want isolation, in a B&B and have your own transportation, you might find this waaay out of the way "no place" in a crowded heavily traveled residential neighborhood a perfect get-away. For anyone else, I say it's an absolute "stay away". My taxi fare was more than double the price to stay there. I was so distressed that I refused to stay and returned to Auckland with an amazed and apologetic taxi driver. All travel advisory sites should remove this travesty from their lists immediately. My partner booked the room but there was a delay in the payment going through, even though it left her account and she sent me a screenshot of it, they made me pay on arrival. Her money cleared and we had both paid. I asked for them to refund me money and they refused, saying she had paid so the refund would go to my partner, I explained to him that we had both paid. He still refused. I sent him screenshots of me and my partner talking about it, where she says “you get your refund, you only had to pay because the money hadn’t cleared yet. She used a business account so we didn’t want the money to be refunded to her. Imran was implying that I was trying to steal the money from my partner. He then refused to answer my emails until she had written to him, and wouldn’t accept the screenshots. He claimed my partner may say she didn’t stay there and ask for a refund too, like that’s a valid reason. If you book a hotel and don’t go, you still get charged because you reserved the room.
