Brooklyne Motel Sanson — Hotel in North Island

The motel room was good. First impressions were how light and bright it was. Everything was clean and well maintained. The only little thing that let this room down was the water pressure in the shower. It works and it gets you clean, but lacks a bit of oppff. The owners are very friendly and accommodating. They also have space out the back for caravans and motorhomes. The Sanson night life is non existent, but for an overnight stay if you are passing through or seeing some off from Ohakea (as many visitors do) I recommend as for a good sleep. It was a last minute decision to stay, I had meant to drive through to Taihape but was more tired than I expected so stopped here at Brooklyne where there was thankfully a vacancy sign out. Very friendly welcome despite arriving unexpectedly and so late at night.||The room was basic but immaculately clean and well maintained, full kitchen, free wifi, plenty of towels, parking right outside and although it's close to the road there was little noise. What a gem of a place! Easy location, our room was super clean, warm and comfy. There were some unexpected but very much appreciated treats like mints and cookies, the smaller details make this property stand out from others in the same price range.
