Havelock North Holiday Park — Hotel in North Island

We (6 females) arrived on a glorious sunny saturday surrounded by amazing views. The staff were very helpful and guided us to our cottage (we could see they were very busy, we arrived at the same time as what appeared to be a large birthday gathering at the adjoining restaurant and we would have been happy with a finger point in the general direction haha). ||||We had The Lavender Cottage, with stunning deck views of Ta Mata peak - a definite must on your list of things to do and see in the area. The cottage had 3 immaculate bedrooms and a spacious lounge, kitchen, dining area. The bathroom also housed a washing machine if you needed it. We decided last minute to stay a night in Havelock and chose Havelock North Holiday Park – and wow, what a great decision! You can really see how much is being invested to make future stays even better. Everything felt fresh and modern, and we felt at home right away. The reception was incredibly welcoming and it was clear the team truly cares about their guests. We had a powered site for our camper van, and it was especially convenient to have the dump station and water hookups right at our spot. The facilities, especially the bathrooms, were a solid 10/10, and everything else was just as good. I had the pleasure of staying in one of the modern black motel rooms at Havelock North Holiday Park, and it was fantastic! The room was stylish, spacious, and thoughtfully designed with a full kitchen and a private deck, which was perfect for relaxing in the evening.||||Having the on-site restaurant and bar was such a bonus. Dinner was delicious, and it was so convenient not having to leave the property.
