Extremely disappointed. Customers of over 20 years. Tried to call about an overcooked order. Was talked over, told it was fine as "I cooked that order". Was then told it would be partially refunded. He disappeared mid concersation. Waited three minutes. Rung back and was then told no refund as "I don't trust you." Terrible way to treat customers. Majority of food had to be binned. They weren't interested at all in rectifying the issue.

Consistently overcooked food over the last few months, making it dry and not as tasty as they use to be. We keep coming as it’s good to support local, but tonight really let them down again. Payed for crumbed fish and got battered, and the rest is well over cooked.

Location is kind of hidden between other Business. But location might be ideal for some visiting near other establishments. There is a Bar next to premises. Food is delicious. I'ld eat here more often. Fresh fish. Nice large fillets, nicely cooked.

Ordered 3 tarakihi and one scoop. $4.40 a fish and $3.00 a scoop,which added up to $16.50 was charged $19.50, $3.50 overcharged. Chips ok but fish was soggy must be a change of ownership,as it never used to be that bad.This fish tasted like shark, and filleted in half so was very thin. Wish we never eat it afterwards. However the Cats enjoyed it. but expensive cats meat too. Wouldn't recommend....

Was told order would be 30 mins which seemed a long time, but hey it is Friday night. I turned up in about 10 minutes and sat there and waited until the order was called about 10 mins later. Drove home less than 1km and chips were cold! Also ordered (and was charged for) a hotdog that I didn't get. Chips probably would've been good if they were hot, but don't waste your time - there are better...
